Airsoft Softwair is proud to announce that the Hollywood Player is now also available for all desktop platforms supported by Hollywood (AmigaOS 3, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS, WarpOS, AROS, Windows, Mac OS PPC & x86, Linux PPC & x86). Although it was originally scheduled for release on June 3, 2006 (and even finished back then) its final publication for desktop systems was postponed again and again limiting the availability of the Hollywood Player to the Android platform for several years.

But now that the Hollywood Player is finally available for desktop platforms as well, software authors can choose to distribute their programs as Hollywood applets instead of stand-alone executables.

A new version GenesisPlus is now available for download. This one adds a preview pic in the main window and thumbnails for the savestate manager plus a few other features / fixes.

In earlier versions it wasn't possible to add new windows or gadgets to an existing GUI at runtime. The MorphOS development team is proud to announce the immediate availability of MorphOS 3.6. Delivering one of the most requested features, this new version can now utilize the built-in Wi-Fi hardware in all Apple systems that feature Broadcom´s BCM43 chipset. In addition, MorphOS further extends its support of graphics chipsets to include AMD´s R400 series by adding compatibility with Radeon X800 PRO and FireGL X3 cards. Moreover, the latest version of MorphOS now enables laptop owners to define custom screen modes and provides default modes for increasingly common high resolution displays.

InstantUnpack is a MUI-GUI of the xadmaster.library. Its a simple shell tool to unpack all possible archives, that was an existing
XAD class. In the first version it's not possible to extract encryted archives.
This tool is made to install it in Ambient filetypes.

AmiCamp #2, the new event for all the Greek Amiga User, will take place in Athens - Greece on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of June. It will be open to the public and all the Amiga enthusiasts who keep using and having fun with their Amigas, especially the Next Generation ones. Visitors will have the chance to watch presentations about the major operating systems (AmigaOS 4, MorphOS). Computers such as AmigaOne X1000, AmigaOne 500, Pegasos II will be available among the best Classic Amiga models, which they will use and test. The gaming will also be part of the event, as well.

MMamM (MUI MUI and more MUI) is tool for creating and maintaining MUI custom-classes soley based on C(++) sources. It was designed in to be non-destructive on preexting sources. Code parts unrelated to the MUI class will remain unaffected and so will allready implemented methods.

MMamM 0.2 is still missing several details and may contain severe bugs and should be considered an alpha release giving you an outlook at what to expect.

Wildfire for MorphOS never really made it but now Airsoft Softwair presents at least a YAFA plugin for Hollywood. This plugin allows you to load and play IFF YAFA anims (made famous by Infect's Wildfire) with Hollywood. This makes it possible for the first time to view these cool 3D animations known from many wild demo compos in the late 90s on NG Amiga, Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and Android systems without the need to use an emulator!
