EPUB (short for electronic publication) is a free and open e-book standard by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). Files have the extension .epub. Epub-Reader can display these files. The program is still in alpha state. At the moment font styles are not yet supported.

    I like the idea, and the support for a relatively new digital book format, so good for you Carsten to program/realise something to handle these book files.

    The only problem, and I appreciate it's only an early alpha release at this stage, is that the books I downloaded from the Free download sites, e.g. epubBooks.com -The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins don't allow the books to be read, only a few words on sporadic pages are viewable at this stage, but as it's a work in progress I hold off on any crticism, and I am just mentioning this situation as an observation, and hope that further work on the program will bear fruit, for you, and then for all MorphOS users. 8-D

    I take a look at your e-book. and I see that i must more precise to scan all the existing pathes in the e-books in the next release of my reader.
    I learn for now: Scan fix pathes are not good....climb along the path tree in e-books, it's better...;)

    Hi Carsten, thanks for your quick update, and assurance of a more advanced future release.

    It would also be nice to be able to choose the size of font as a setting or is this allowed in the MUI side of settings?

    MUI is here only the controler. The renderer is Cairo. So it exists no problem with fontsize.
