One of the most popular Hollywood plugins, RapaGUI is a cross-platform GUI toolkit that allows you to create graphical user interfaces that run on AmigaOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, and even on Android. GUIs are conveniently defined in XML files and then run out-of-the-box on many different operating systems, using the native GUI widgets on all operating systems for an authentic look and feel.

Version 2.2 is mostly a maintenance update which contains several bug fixes. On top of that, RapaGUI 2.2 also introduces support for the macOS arm64 platform and a few other new features. It is now available for free download from the official Hollywood portal.

Only four months after its initial release, Pangomonium, the Hollywood plugin that contains a state-of-the-art text and graphics engine including full support for color emojis and exotic scripts, is now available in a brand-new version 2.0. This is a major update which now adds SVG support to the plugin. In comparison to the dedicated SVG plugin which has been available for Hollywood for over a decade, Pangomonium's SVG renderer supports more SVG features because Pangomonium's text and graphics engine is much more powerful than the one used in the other SVG plugin for Hollywood. Pangomonium 2.0 is now available for free download for various platforms from the official Hollywood portal. Note that Hollywood 10 is strictly required by Pangomonium 2.0.

Pangomonium is a plugin of epic proportions and the first plugin only available for Hollywood 10. Pangomonium contains an ultramodern, state-of-the-art text engine that can be used to draw text in almost any language of the world. On top of that, it also supports advanced text features like fonts with colored glyphs. This finally makes it possible to write programs which support emojis on Amiga! Pangomonium is based on the established Pango and Cairo text and vector graphics libraries and also allows you to access the complete Pango and Cairo function set directly from Hollywood scripts. Of course, there is also a high-level interface which allows you to conveniently draw text without having to delve into Pango and Cairo programming. Pangomonium has been two years in the making and is now finally ready for release exclusively for Hollywood 10.0.

This is to announce that bug-fix updates for the APNG and Plananarama plugins for Hollywood have just been released. The APNG plugin for Hollywood adds support for loading and saving PNG animations and Plananarama is a plugin that enables Hollywood to run on non-RTG screens on classic Amigas. Both updates are now available for free download from the official Hollywood portal.

For example, the ZIP plugin now supports Hollywood 10's new filesystem adapter interface which means that you can use functions like DeleteFile() or Rename() directly on files or directories within zip archives. Also, the plugin now makes use of several optimizations offered by Hollywood 10.
