WebPButton 1.2

WebPButton is a Replacement for Ambient icons. Screenshot
It works only on the Ambientscreen.
It is possible to replace Icons of progs and dirs.
The "new virtual icons" are animated and play sound, if you use animated webp pictues and sound files.
The new icons use the alpha chanal of webp files if possible.
The new icons are animated in a loop or only after pushing the icon.

C.Desler released a new beta version 0.95 of Cinnamon Writer for MorphOS.

This pack allows you to quickly obtain a complete environment preconfigured containing a selection of software, games and emulators for MorphOS.

This pack is not official, it must installed just after clean installation MorphOS 3.9 (registered or not). To install this package, simply mount the ISO image, open "Chrysalis" volume and click on the "Install Chrysalis Pack 3.9.2" icon.

The most important new feature is that Hollywood 6.1 now comes with GUIs for Mac OS (x86 and PowerPC) and Linux (x86, PowerPC, ARM). Previously Hollywood could only be used from the command line on these systems. Starting with Hollywood 6.1 the Mac OS and Linux versions come with a native GUI which is identical to the GUI used in the Amiga version. Additionally, Hollywood plugins can now be linked into executables compiled by Hollywood. Speaking of plugins, Hollywood 6.1 contains major extensions to the plugin interface which will be utilized by a soon to be released killer plugin which has been three years in the making. This plugin (codename: Secret Weapon III) will be the most powerful plugin in the history of Hollywood and it will open up a whole new world of programming with Hollywood. And it will be released free of charge for all Hollywood users. So watch this space...

The MorphOS development team would like to announce the immediate availability of version 3.10 of the official MorphOS Software Development Kit (SDK). The most notable additions and changes are:

• GCC 5.3.0, including baserel support
• Added a Lua interpreter
• Updates ixemul to 50.16
• Updated tar to 1.28 and sed to 4.2.2

Important: The new SDK requires at least 650 MB of free disk space to install!

The new software development kit is available for download in our files section.

The "Amiga Games List", document created and maintained by David Brunet since 1991, was updated the 16th january 2016. The Amiga Games List is the most extensive collection of its kind on Internet. Beside other news, the games created in 2015 was added. The total reaches now 12 403 games, level editors, data disks, extensions and interpreters subdivided into the categories as follows:

11 865 games
316 extensions and data disks
143 game and level editors
79 interpreters

There are now 469 native MorphOS games.

A universal tool to view WebP pictures and animations, Convert other picture formats to WebP and mux a directory with pictures to a single WebP animation.

+ The encoder part decode all reggae supported formats.
+ The WebP viewer part support all features of the standart.

- Only the top directory was encodet to a WebP anim. Oher sub - directories was ignored.

Simple Mail version 0.42 comes with following changes:

PortablE is a recreation of the AmigaE programming language, along with all the improvements I wanted. PortablE works on MorphOS, AROS, OS4, and even Windows to an extent! (It should also work on OS3, but compiling needs a powerful machine like WinUAE.)

This is the first proper new release in 2 years, and has been throughly tested on the latest version of MorphOS, as well as the other supported OSes.
