Between March 31 (Friday) and April 2 (Sunday), Amiga Club Osnabrück & Amiga Club Steinfurt will be hosting another user meeting.

You will be able to gather information about upcoming MorphOS releases, get in-person technical support, try out new software or just enjoy talking to fellow developers and users.

If you would like to bring and use any hardware, please inform us as soon as possible because the space and number of dedicated seats are limited. Of course, you can always stop by for just a quick visit if you like.

As always, entrance to the event is entirely free of charge.

A new subtitle editing program Slarti is now freely downloadable for MorphOS, but you can still donate to open downloads for other platforms or just show the support from MorphOS users (you can indicate your platform when donating).

Information from Slarti's home page:

This program was created to help making or modifying video subtitles. A subtitle file is contains the timing information of each text line which the video player can display while plays the movie. While the subtitle file is a simple text file, editing it manually can be very complicated.
This is where Slarti comes and help you.

As an update to our previous story on 500 million accounts that had been hacked, Yahoo announced today that one billion accounts may have been compromised in a hack that is separate from the previous one. The company does not currently know how exactly the data has been obtained by a third party. The stolen information includes names, passwords, contact lists, and personalized answers to common security questions.

If you own a Yahoo user account, please update your password as soon as possible.

Airsoft Softwair is proud to present the immediate availability of MUI Royale 1.4. The biggest new feature in MUI Royale 1.4 is the ability to run MUI Royale 1.4 on palette-based screens. If the Plananarama plugin is installed, it is also possible to open Hollywood displays next to MUI windows managed by MUI Royale. On top of that, MUI Royale 1.4 contains various bug fixes and adds support for some more MUI classes.

MUI Royale requires at least Hollywood 5.2 and is provided free of charge for all users of Hollywood. It is available for AmigaOS 3 (m68k), AmigaOS 4 (PPC), MorphOS (PPC), and AROS (x86). The package comes with over 20 example scripts, many of which are direct ports from the MUI 3.8 SDK by Stefan Stuntz, but there are also original developments like demonstrations of how to create a video player using the combined power of Hollywood and MUI. On top of that MUI Royale comes with extensive documentation in over 300 PDF pages which are also available in the HTML, AmigaGuide, and CHM formats thanks to the Hollywood documentation system.

All this makes MUI Royale the truly royal MUI experience, carefully crafted for you Kings and Queens of MUI!

Download now available at the official Hollywood portal @ http://www.hollywood-mal.com/

Due to what is considered to be one of the biggest security breaches in history, all MorphOS users who happen to have a Yahoo account are advised to log in and change their passwords as soon as possible.

On a sidenote, MorphZone was altered to refuse Yahoo email addresses for new user registrations in 2014. This simple step helped to cut down the total amount of spam registrations by 90+ percent.
