After two years of wait, the first two games of the developer DanLab Games (http://www.danlabgames.com/) are now available on MorphOS.

The first one is Marble Solitarus, a mind game, and the second one is Videp Poker Solitarus, a... video poker game.

You need MorphOS 1.x, 3D and SDL libraries to run these games.

MorphZone has moved on to version 2.0 of the default theme.  This new theme should improve readability in higher screen resolutions.  If you prefer to keep the older theme, you may change the theme in your user profile settings after logging in.

Last 24-25-26th October, Colmar Multimedia Expo 2008 (France) was a great success for the "RELEC / ACube Systems / RMS Communications" stand. Many visitors and amigans came from France, Swiss, Italy, Belgium, Germany, UK and even Danemark to see in Colmar AmigaOS 4.1 running on SAM440ep, SAM440ep-flex motherboard, <span style="font-weight: bold;">MorphOS 2.1</span> on <span style="font-weight: bold;">EFIKA</span> & <span style="font-weight: bold;">Pegasos</span>, Minimig, and for the first time AmigaOS 4.1 on a touchscreen !

Some weeks back Nova Design's web site (www.novadesign.com) was hacked. Our then-host failed to detect or log the hack and lost our backups. So we decided to upgrade the site! About time too.

Only two days before the 2nd edition of the largest IT exhibition in North-East of France, Colmar Multimedia Expo 2008 (24-25-26th October), where Amiga will be represented in force on the stand "RELEC + Pegasos-Suisse.com". An unique opportunity for Amiga to achieve the professionals and the general public again !

There is another new version of NoWinED available on ShInKurO's website. NoWinED is a brand new text editor featured with all most basic text editing functions well known from other amiga text editors plus a few other very usefull ones. It's MUI based and has a highly customizable interface.

Gallerius is an easy to use HTML gallery generator, and probably the best of its kind.

Some of the new features of Gallerius 2.3 are:

* Being able to use he Ambient picture viewer or a l33t internal one
* Colours can now be loaded or saved
* File comments can now be edited and used in the gallery, nicely placed under the pictures
* Navigation page menu can now be displayed on top, on the bottom or at both positions
* The number of pictures can now be setup in a column as well as on the page.

Ignition is a powerful spread-sheet application for AmigaOS 3.0 and higher. It should also run fine on MorphOS. It's open source and licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3.

There is new version of AutoDocReader 1.5 available on MaaG^dA's website.
AutoDocReader works on AmigaOS3, AmigaOS4, MorphOS and AROS.

After the Release Candidate didn't show much sign of problems the final version of OpenTTD 0.6.3 was released yesterday. This is the 3rd major bugfix release for the 0.6 series of OpenTTD and fixes many small and a few bigger issues.

OpenTTD is an open source clone of the Microprose game "Transport Tycoon Deluxe", a popular game originally written by Chris Sawyer. It attempts to mimic the original game as closely as possible while extending it with new features.

There is new version of NoWinED (0.76) available on ShInKurO's website. He fixed several bugs reported. Among others: the main window now remembers its size and position, AROS version of NoWinED now is able to use uni.library, so all conversions are supported even on AROS. Added few improvement and changes in GUI. Added also Polish calatog.

Just when we thought that our internet could cool down for a while, bigfoot comes up with another reason to start a downloading frenzy: a new version of the Quake3 port! The shortlist of changes is as follows:

• The 'new' PPC JIT has been bugfixed and enabled.
• The sound buffer size decreased and the sound mixing code has been slightly optimised.
• The mouse wheel code has been updated to be in sync with the latest Intuition breakages.

MorphOS: OpenRedAlert Project

Fab and SixK have been working on the OpenRedAlert project for MorphOS (version 407). It is from the strategy game Command & Conquer: Red Alert.  (port is based on SDL)  This is an early release (alpha/beta), so there are bugs to be worked out.

This is the MorphOS build of the latest 'stable' release of Subversion, an open source version control system. The aim of the Subversion project is to create a compelling replacement for CVS. A full list of features can be found here.

For a full list of changes compared to previous release of Subversion for MorphOS (version 1.4.6) refer to the official Release Notes.

The binary release archive for MorphOS can be downloaded on my site. The archive includes basic installation instructions and a current build of the 'SVN Book' (a full and detailed documentation about Subversion) in PDF format.

WARNING: if a Subversion 1.5 client encounters a pre-1.5 working copy, it will automatically upgrade the working copy format as soon as it touches it, making it unreadable by older Subversion clients. If you are using several versions of Subversion on your machine, be careful about which version you use in which working copy, to avoid accidentally upgrading a working copy. (But note that this "auto upgrade" behavior does not occur with the repositories, only working copies.)

Subversion is a rather large package, so not each feature was and could be carefully tested on MorphOS. There might be hidden bugs or problems related to the port itself. You use this software at your own risk.

OpenTTD is an open source clone of the famous MS-DOS/ Windows classic strategy game 'Transport Tycoon Deluxe'.

A MorphOS build of the latest stable release is now finally available after some delay, so all addicted OpenTTD players can join 0.6.2 servers properly.
