Wayfarer 2.0 may now be downloaded from wayfarer.icu.

The new version is based on a latest stable WebKitGTK branch (about 1 year newer code base than Wayfarer 1.x) and introduces Dark Mode on websites that support it. Several other bugs were addressed in this release, including rendering of checkmarks that were previously invisible on some websites.

Please note that the ICU files included in the archive must be moved to MOSSYS in order to run latest Wayfarer.

RNOArchive is a graphical archive manager, that can extract, modify, and create archives. Extraction is handled by the XAD system and the program has built-in support for writing ZIP archives. Writing to other formats relies on separate Shell commands, and their availability and compatibility in the used system.

As some of you may have read over the past days, there has been an ownership dispute over the Freenode network. The IRC network has been used by MorphOS and many other projects over the past decades as a platform for discussion and support. The dispute led to the exodus of most former Freenode staff from the network and the founding of a new network: Libera Chat

In light of these events, the official MorphOS IRC channel has been migrated and can now be accessed by visiting #morphos on irc.libera.chat. The old Freenode channel will stay online for the time being but could be closed down by the Freenode owners at any time.

Wayfarer 1.17 is now out with many media playback improvements.

This version makes it possible to watch Youtube Live HLS streams. Media settings were integrated in the Browser tab, which means they can be tweaked per website.

The MorphOS Team is proud to announce the immediate availability of the MorphOS 3.16 SDK, February 2021 release. This update includes a greatly enhanced GDB, with TUI, syntax highlighting and shared library debugging. Two new profiling utilities were added. EventProfiler may be used to instrument a applications and generate Chrome Debugger files that may be loaded into Wayfarer for analysis. Koprofiler is a sampling profile that can be used to record a selected thread. Several GG packages were also updated, including git, wget, nano and perl. Updated OpenSSH now comes with ssh-agent.

Our new SDK requires MorphOS 3.15 and about 2 GB of free disk space and can be found in our files section. As usual, a separate source package is available for download as well.

Iris 0.104 is now available for download from iris-morphos.com. The new version makes it possible to map your email archives and folders of other email applications right into Iris. This release also fixes several crashes reported via the built-in bug reporting system.

Do note that the Arexx port has changed from IRIS.1 to IRIS and needs to be adjusted in OpenURL settings!
