Last months launch of Open Video Toaster was a great success

Vistors to the site downloaded over 57 Gigabytes of source code! When you consider that the code to the Amiga Video Toaster Flyer is only about 30MB that is a lot of unique downloads...

Today, issue 47 (March/April 2004) of the Amiga Future has been released.

This means, that all subscriptions and single orders have been given up at the post office today.

It will naturally still take some time until the booklet arrives.

In this issue you will find a detailed test of the Pegasos II beside many other articles.

Suitably we started the 1. Part of the "Linux on Pegasos" workshop.

MorphOS update released!

Available for both Pegasos-I and Pegasos-II, MorphOS 1.4.2 contains several important bugfixes. One may simply download updates, or a new ISO containing updated version. This update is available from the Beta2 FTP. (If you time out trying to connect, try again later!)

Note: If you already have MorphOS 1.4, it is suggested that you simply download the individual bugfix for your system.

RunDOS is a tool which can easily help you to run MS-DOS software simply by clicking on the icon. RunDOS is not an emulator. It just sends required data to the DOSBox emulator.

Genesi announced today that the Pegasos II G4 using the recently announced 7447A will be shipping as soon as the CPU is commercially released by Motorola. Until then the 7447 will be shipped with the Pegasos II G4.

Motorola has validated the 7447A as a "Supported Motorola Product" for MorphOS, the Pegasos, and the Open Desktop Workstation.

Both the PegasosPPC and the Open Desktop Workstation have been validated as "Evaluation/Development Boards and Systems" for the 7447 and 7447A G4 CPUs.

www.amigaworld.org is a on-line Amiga Magazine. From 01.03.2004 we will focus a lot more on whats going on with MorphOS and its community.

We hope that you will like it and bring PegasosII to the top tougether. It deserves more and we will focus on giving MorphOS and Genesi all the support they need.

Genesi announced this morning that the US Federal Court in Washington State had found in favor of its request for judgment against Amiga Inc. The Court's decision grants full relief to Genesi, including source code access to the licensed Amiga operating system and the full use of the Amiga trademarks.
