Association WArMUp is pround to offer you the pack Chrysalis 3.3.1 for MorphOS 3.3. This pack allows you to quickly obtain a complete environment preconfigured. This pack is not official, it must installed just after clean installation MorphOS 3.3 (registered or not). To install the package, simply mount the ISO image and click the "Install Pack Chrysalis" icon.

The ISO image is freely downloadable from the following link: http://meta-morphos.fr/download/pack/chrysalis.iso (577 MB)

The MorphOS development team is proud to announce the public release of MorphOS 3.3, which includes various bug fixes and other improvements. For an overview of the included changes, please read our release notes.

We strongly urge new users to carefully read our installation and troubleshooting guides before they attempt to install MorphOS for the first time. Existing users can upgrade via the familiar procedure but are encouraged to read the guides as well. MorphOS 3.3 is available for download in our files section.

Celebrating 2000 Registrations

In order to celebrate the 2000th MorphOS registration, we'd like to thank our users for their support since the introduction of the MorphOS 2.0 in 2008. Since MorphOS 2.4, we've been expanding our hardware base to a variety of Apple PowerPC computers, including their excellent portables. The adoption rate of the Mac mini quickly surpassed the bPlan machines, and the Mini still remains the most popular MorphOS platform.

Version 1.5 of GenesisPlus is now available for download. This is a major update featuring a new emulation core that now supports Genesis - SegaCD - MasterSystem and GameGear. It also features a gui save state manager and better controller re-mapping.

OnyxSoft is releasing two software updates: ZoomIT, ZoomIT.pobj

Updated program

ZoomIT v1.3 - (MorphOS, OS4, OS4, AROS_i386) A MUI-based magnify/zoom application.
- Removed the requirements for CyberGraphX (shall work even on non-RTG hopefully).
- Added türkçe translation (Thanks to Serkan Dursun).
- Added español translation (Thanks to Dámaso Domínguez).
- Removed Scale Mode
- Removed Color Mode
- Removed Magnifications above 1000%

New program

ZoomIT.pobj v1.0 - (MorphOS 3.2+) ZoomIT.pobj is a small panel object created for MorphOS 3.2 or later.

Available to download the new version of Virtual Amiga Multimedia Player or V.A.M.P. a multimedia player programmed with Hollywood that plays movies, songs, sounds, show pictures. This new version has the next improvements:

1. Compiled with the lastest Hollywood 5.3.
2. Suppressed the text message with the % of volume bar.
3. Fixed the bug that was preventing the repeating the multimedia file.
4. Again available the autoplay video and song when you have loaded the file.
5. Corrected the rewind/forward video&song time with the mouse wheel, now it is second to second.
6. Improvement the player GUI, new button Mute OFF for the option Mute ON/OFF.

Available to Amiga OS4, MorphOS and Amiga 68k with graphic card, V.A.M.P. needs the Hollywood plugins and datatypes.

OGR-27 is a distributed number crunching contest, computing an optimal Golomb ruler. Team MorphOS constists of MorphOS developers and users and takes part in the contest with remarkable results. In just 40 days we have moved 100 places up, and now are at 193. The team has 26 members now, but why not to have more? Everyone is invited.

Airsoft Softwair is happy to announce the immediate availability of Hollywood 5.3. Version 5.3 is a major update which includes several new features as well as important bug fixes. Most new functionality is introduced in the Android version which comes with a fully native Java-based GUI now, supports many new commands from the desktop versions and has hardware-accelerated scaling now. But also the desktop versions of Hollywood have improved with release 5.3.

SUPERBYTE 2013 – CHIPTUNE, RETRO GAMING & 8 BIT ARTS WEEKENDER

In September 2012 we hosted SuperByte 2012 – a musical and cultural first for Manchester in the form of an all day micromusic and retro gaming festival which was one of the largest of its kind in the UK.

On Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of September 2013, the UK and international micromusic community will descend on Jabez Clegg in Manchester for two days of live music, visual arts, retro gaming and more as part of SuperByte 2013 - an event which is looking to be bigger, bolder and bleepier than its 2012 counterpart.

the other Amiga dealers that stock the magazine.

MorphOS.pl is pleased to announce another bounty for open source game. This time on agenda is OpenXCOM: openxcom.org. Bounty taker is Paweł Stefkos Stefański. The bounty minimal sum is set to 80 Euro, estimated timeframe is 45 days since minimal bounty sum will be collected. All the funds collected over the minimal sum might be used for further games or software ports done by Paweł Stefański. Fell free to donate that bounty on dedicated bounty page.

Lua Explorador is MUI based source level debugger for Lua programs. Highly integrated port of the Lua language, featuring dynamic modules as shared libraries and ARexx ports support is included in MorphOS. Lua Explorador allows for single step execution, breakpoints, displays local and global variables, Lua stack and call history. Just released version 0.4 has improved code viewer with tabulator support, breakpoints, autoscrolling to executed line and some minor bugfixes. The program can be downloaded from our download section.
