IBM is gearing up to push Linux and PowerPC, according to an arcicle found on InternetNews.com.

"Anybody who doesn't think the PowerPC is a platform is an architecture that IBM is not fully committed to bring to the industry better think again," (James) Governor said. "IBM may support Itanium, but it is not going to cede the market to Intel."

According to MorphOS-News, the Pegasos-][ is now shipping.

The package includes:
  • Pegasos II Mainboard
  • CPU card
  • MorphOS CD Rom
  • Backplate
  • Printed manual (61 pages in three languages: English, German, French)

The final version won't have the static ram drive mounted and the ATX connector will move back to where the debug connector is now mounted.

In a recent announcement on MorphOS-News.de BBRV announces information regarding the long anticipated Pegasos-II.

The Pegasos II will go on sale soon. The first limited production of the Pegasos II will be for 600 units. Here is the way we are going to do this:

In two comments at MorphOS-News.de, Raquel Velasco and Bill Buck of Genesi announced the Pegasos III with a PPC 970 CPU for early next year.

The new multidisk.device for Amiga OS (version 2.0 and up) and MorphOS now recognizes the Catweasel MK3 PCI/Flipper in a PCI-slot of an Amiga, Amithlon or Pegasos.
