Finally after years of research and development I've managed to create a Tetris clone. Failed many times but always tried again. With the great Hollywood multimedia scripting language I made it !!!

Another port by LouiSe brings MorphOS the point and click shooter, Barrage.

UPDATE!
A quick update of ANR has been released that fixes several bugs on both MorphOS and Classic systems: Get It (Note: the main ANR v.3 archive now contains the bugfix as well.)

Although Computer City is not an exhibitor at the Essen OS4 event, we will attend as visitors. Therefor, any orders placed before friday the 14th can be taken with us (when in stock of course) and picked up at the event. Let's call it the "Computer City Trunk-Sale"Computer City at Essen event

As a sidenote, the Image Installer V2 production has now (finally) started and all ordered copies are shipping early next week. Of course, the Image Installer V2 CD and DVD editions can also be ordered and picked up at the OS4 event, where you will have the possibility for a 'meet and greet' with the Image Installer team themselves!

We are looking for a Staff Writer to cover News/Views on MorphOS/PegasOS...Software/Hardware.

The Crypt comes out every 3 months on average, so just one article per issue is needed as none of us has experience with this OS.

TTEngine is an AmigaOS library (named ttengine.library) for rendering high quality text using TrueType fonts. TTEngine is based on FreeType2 project. It is not a plain straightforward FreeType port however. TTEngine has many additional functionality implemented.

The MorphZone MorphOS Essentials Pack_2 is now available in the downloads area.

The Essentials Packs were created to provide a list of freeware and demo-ware software that is commonly needed by the MorphOS user. When available, the associated readme for an archive is also included. If you've just got your Pegasos, or you are helping a friend set up his MorphOS system, these packs are here to help.

Pack_2 includes more MCC's, text-editors, shell utilities, and several libraries.

When we played yesterday with laire's XBox we broke it unintentionally. Hey... you know how this is! When you play racing games and before you can reach the finishing line of last lap and then some stupid AI controlled opponent passes and wins... argh!!!!! Fact is that we throw a joypad with full power against the XBox and the thing immediatelly died in some kind of atomic mushroom.

After the release of MLdonkey 2.5.16 we were inattentive and CISC could break out off his dingy cellar. From a very secret source we could receive the information that CISC was captured a day after his breakout by laire and had to do slaving work on upcoming MorphOS 1.5 since then.

GenesisPlus emulates the classic Sega Genesis/MegaDrive game console. GenesisPlus currently runs many commercial titles with good speed, sound support, and excellent compatibility. The MorphOS version also features a new MUI based "skinned" gui.

Today a new demo version of Digibooster Professional was released for MorphOS and AmigaOS. DBPro is a sample based music editor, a so called tracker.

In a Press Release, Genesi announces a new CPU card for the Pegasos II computers. It will be based on the upcoming IBM 750 GX CPU and will carry the licensed PPC trademark. It will be used in new Pegasos II computers, but it will also be sold separately to current Pegasos II owners.

Genesi will be offering HP products with the Open Desktop Workstation and the associated server and thin client configurations based on the PegasosPPC. HP Technology Solutions and Tool and Office Template Support will be offered in conjunction with Genesi products.

A week after MorphZone hit 1000 accounts, the MorphOS Developer Connection scored its 700th registered member. New members included developers from a few new countries, such as Argentina, Bahrain and Uruguay. Leading the growth from the last report are developers from the USA, Germany and Poland. In the meanwhile, Pegasos shipments have now been made to a total of 40 different countries. The international community is growing and the Forums are active and helpful.

A BIG word of THANKS goes out to all the participants who have made the site useful and friendly.
