The MorphZone MorphOS Essentials Pack_2 is now available in the downloads area.

The Essentials Packs were created to provide a list of freeware and demo-ware software that is commonly needed by the MorphOS user. When available, the associated readme for an archive is also included. If you've just got your Pegasos, or you are helping a friend set up his MorphOS system, these packs are here to help.

Pack_2 includes more MCC's, text-editors, shell utilities, and several libraries.

Pack_2 of the Essential MorphOS (some useful for AmigaOS) downloads.

Pack_2 has a few more MorphOS specific binaries, so AmigaOS users should be careful to read the readmes included with the individual files.

Please note that some of the included files are currently maintained and are subject to change. Archiveal date is September 2003, but please check the readme's to check for the URL's where updates may appear.

CopyIcon, a program that makes changing PNG icons in MorphOS a snap.

Scout, a great resource tracking utility, very useful for beta-testers and programmers.

WordPad 1.6, A simple MUI based text editing utility.

WebMaker, Another MUI text editor, but has some useful HTML macros.

WordPadMI, some additional buttons for WordPad

WMbuttons1, some additional buttons for Webmaker

MCC_BBalance, MUI Class

MCC_Lamp, a nifty LED display class

WaitX, the poorman's answer for cron. useful for shell scripting.

xpk_User, the xpk libraries used by various programs.

xpkmaster_bin, morphos specific binaries of xpk (install over xpk_user stuff)

xadmaster060, used by VoodooX for unarchiving files

xadmasterlang, language files for xadmaster

xadmaster-key, freeware key for xadmaster

Hopefully, in the future these essential packs will be themed, and will include some sort of browsing utility. For now, they are simply a collection of files for your enjoyment.
