On request, i decided to release a recent version of MAME. It's based on 0.148.
Amongst its features:

- Builtin MUI GUI with screenshots and history.dat/mameinfo.dat support and per-game configurations.
- Optimized triple-buffered display routines.
- Overlay support, offering free scaling and filtering. To avoid struggling with exotic screenmodes, MAME clones the Ambient desktop resolution when switching to fullscreen/overlay mode (unless specified otherwise).

SteamDraw the vector-oriented GFX-program for MorphOS is now available in version 2.3. The following (and more) changes have been made over version 2.2:

- regular/symetric polygons
- "private" tools for polygon and bezier, options for moving/adding/removing points will
appear in context-menu while edit-tool is active (for bezier only move points).

Available via Grunch, or directly at:

eGame now works fully on MorphOS! eGame allows you to keep an easily searchable list of games for playing – rather than having to hunt through lots of folders using Workbench/Wanderer/Ambient. Please note that eGame is only able to start games that you can already run by double-clicking them.

Yet another image manipulation program written in Hollywood? At the first glance A.H.I.W. by MorgueSoft is exactly this. Its hand-drawn GUI, non system friendly localization and set of basic options are typical for this class of software. There are two exceptions however. The first one is extensive documentation in PDF format. The second are a few interesting filters, not to be found in competing software. Examples are "old photo" filter, which is much more than just ordinary sepia, and conversion to binary black and white image with Floyd-Steinberg dithering. The program may be downloaded from the download section.

Since today there is an update available, so Roadshow can also be used on MorphOS. Roadshow is much faster than the internal TCP/IP stack of MorphOS 3.1. Please note, that with MorphOS a manual installation of roadshow is required. The supplied installation script will not run under MorphOS. The user should therefore be familiar with the operating system. The manually installed Roadshow is now directly usable and requires no further intervention to boot. New sample files for the network usage on the Pegasos / Pegasos II, and for Apple hardware are also included. The update can be downloaded for free on the support page of Roadshow.

Smilla is an application which might prove usefull for people who are in a need for highly upscaled version of a raster image. Used algorithm was developed by Mischa Lusteck. It is most effective for high scaling factors and for line-art/painted images. In current shape it is enough for my personal needs but if i get enough feedback more features might be implemented. Application can be downloaded at: http://kiero.binaryriot.org/SmillaEnlarger.lha
