Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working men in code business, are proud to present the first plugin exclusively for Hollywood 11: Coderise It's called MP3Enc and allows scripts to use the new sound export interface introduced with Hollywood 11 to encode sound streams as MP3s. Constant and variable bitrates as well as certain quality settings are supported. It's also possible to directly record audio data as MP3 now.

The plugin is available for free download from the official Hollywood portal. Thanks to Hollywood's cross-platform plugin system versions for AmigaOS3, AmigaOS4, MorphOS, WarpOS, AROS (x86), Linux (arm, arm64, ppc, x86, x64), macOS (arm64, ppc, x86, x64), Windows (x86, x64), Android and iOS are provided. Hollywood 11 is strictly required.

Note that on AmigaOS 3 it's highly recommended to use the FPU version of the plugin because otherwise MP3 encoding will be very slow since the MP3 encoder used by the plugin is heavy on floating point operations.

This release was brought to you by Airsoft Softwair - the hardest working men in code business.

Version 2.1 of the ZIP plugin for Hollywood is now available for download. This is a minor update which contains a few new features and bugfixes. Also, the plugin is now available in a version for the Linux arm64 platform.

CSS Gradients are now fixed to render correctly. Settings defaults are now always correctly updated to include latest Youtube presets.

Additionally, the simplified Youtube interface moved from now defunct youtube-nocookie.com onto a self-hosted solution. Wayfarer 10.0 is now available for download. The new version comes with WebKit rebased to WebKitGTK 2.48.3 (latest stable). As always, automatic updates are recommended.

A lot of work in this release went into improving youtube support, with better auto-quality switching, built-in predefined settings and user-agents. The MediaSource player was rewritten to fix the issues that plagued it in Wayfarer 9. Additionally, Wayfarer can now all automatically redirect all YT video links into youtube-nocookie.com that gives you just the video player, with no comments, recommended and most notably no video ads.

This version also adds HTTP/3 support*

Iris 1.44 is now available for download.

Several past releases have mostly focused on re-implementing local cache for offline viewing of messages. Iris can now use up to 10 threads to simultaneously download whole emails. Once a folder is cached, messages and attachments will display instantaneously.

Calendar events may now be responded to as well as cancelled via Iris.

Sending emails may be configured to always BCC to a predefined account. This makes it possible to verify if a mission critical email was in fact accepted by the SMTP server or for backup purposes.

Please use 'Check for Updates' from Iris' menu to automatically download and install the update.
