A new version of audio converter Zormanita brings automatic file extension handling. There is an option for removing extension from the source file name and for adding default extension (based on selected output format). These features with previously available ones, like copying source name to destination and dropping files from Ambient into Zormanita window, make it easier to convert multiple files. A Reggae classes update comes with Zormanita, it adds 24 and 32-bit modes to AIFF, WAVE and Raw encoders. Zormanita may be downloaded from our download section.

Zormanita is an audio format converter. It has been written as a result of MorphOS media saving API bounty. Currently it can load AIFF, WAVE (several flavours), 8SVX, 16SV, and MPEG Audio files, they can be saved as AIFF, WAVE or raw data. Because Zormanita uses new Reggae features, it will support any audio codecs added to Reggae in the future. All the program (including codec selection and its parameters) is controlled with GUI. Source code is included to the archive, which can be downloaded from the download zone.

U1Synth is one of results of MorphOS.pl Reggae media saving API bounty. The program is an example of using new Reggae capabilities, writing Reggae custom classes and general MUI programming. Source code of the program is released on BSD license. In the current version of U1Synth the synthesis engine is very simple: a fixed sine wave generator with adjustable ADSR envelope. It may be made more advanced in the future. The archive of the program contains also a set of new and updated Reggae classes, which are installed by installation script.

NoWinED is a MUI-based TextEditor for all Amiga flavours. With this version NoWinED supports tab characters, many bugs are now fixed, read changelog for detailed changes...
