AI4MorphOS is a native MUI application that brings modern AI assistants to MorphOS/PPC.
It works as a chat client and as a tool-using agent that can read, write and run things on your MorphOS machine— safely, under your control.
Highlights:
* Multi-provider — Anthropic (Claude) natively, plus any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (OpenAI, DeepSeek, OpenRouter and more). Pick provider and model in the top bar; fetch the model list on demand.
* Agent mode — a provider-neutral tool loop with list_dir, read_file, write_file, search, replace_in_file, run and remember. It makes targeted edits instead of rewriting whole files, and can run several tools per turn.
* Safe by design — file tools are confined to a working directory; anything outside asks Yes / Session / Always / No, and every action is written to an audit log.
* Live streaming — replies appear token by token, a token counter shows usage, and long conversations are automatically summarised so requests stay small and cheap.
* Stays responsive — the window never freezes during a request, and a Stop button aborts a call in flight.
* Made for real work — auto-saved sessions with per-session working directory, a Markdown memo (global + per-project) that remembers where your compiler and tools live, one-click git init, and “open memo in your editor”.
