Shuffle 1.10 released An update for Shuffle is available to all customers.

Shuffle is an addictive implementation of the famous Sliding Block Puzzle, often also known as 15 Puzzle and is making perfect use of MorphOS core components like MUI or Reggae.

Shuffle will be available as part of MorphOS 2.0, but if you want to play it now already you can buy it for just 3 EUR. Please note that this early offer will end on 31th August 2007. After that date no more copies of Shuffle will be sold anymore and if you still want to play Shuffle then you must wait for the MorphOS 2.0 release (no matter how long this will take).

OpenTTD 0.5.1The OpenTTD Team released an update for OpenTTD 0.5 branch which fixes many known bugs and adds a few new features. You can download it with BitTorrent directly from http://torrent.openttd.org/ (very fast).

Futher we resolved the problems we had with current 0.6 branch, so if no new problems will appear then the future of OpenTTD on MorphOS is secured for now. Thanks to all OpenTTD users who commented in the last thread here on morphzone.org (http://www.morphzone.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1348).

Read the full story directly on http://www.openttd.org/ (you also find slower HTTP sourceforge.net download of the 0.5.1 release there... in case you have trouble with the BitTorrent download).

MapMasterDX can be used to create a background scene made up of individual blocks or tiles. This tool is useful for those interested in creating backgrounds for classic 2D games. Some example blocks and maps are included as well as a C source code example of how to use the mapfiles. This tool was written with the HuC compiler in mind to help in developing original PC Engine software but can also be used for any general purpose game or app that requires rectangular map data.

SimpleCat is a program for maintaining catalogs (tanslations). It offers more features than the cat program of the AmigaOS and MorphOS SDK: Powerful import and export functions, validity checks and a graphical user interface make the life of developers easier and the program first choice for translators. The add-on for Cubic integrates SimpleCat into the interface of the development environment, with syntax highlighting for translations and clickable log files. SimpleCat was developed by Guido Mersman and the latest version is included with kind permission of the author.

Pavel Kanzelsberger released a new demo version of his multi-OS-gfx-application Pixel (was: Pixel32). Get it here:

http://www.kanzelsberger.com

A new full version will follow soon regarding to this:

http://www.kanzelsberger.com/pixel/?p=70#comments

Pavel seems to have problems with debugging for his MorphOS application which is the reason why MOS versions are quite instable compared to other versions. Maybe any experienced developper could tell Pavel about possibilities for debugging MOS apps?
