To all MorphOS users

Celebrating the 6th anniversary of MorphOS, version 1.4.4 is now available. This is hopefully the last bugfix update before the next full release, and solves many bugs and problems with the previous releases.

Please note that the update is currently only available to users who have registered themselves. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the MorphOS support site is currently down. Users who have not yet registered will have to wait for a few days while a new registration system is prepared. A new announcement will be made when it is ready. The support mailinglist will also be restored shortly, please have some patience.

Fixes in the 1.4.4 release include support for large harddrives, ability to read DVDs in their entirety, important bug fixes to SFS, audio, 68k emulation, network card drivers and many other things. See releasenotes for more information.

As recently there seems to be serious confusion about all the Ambient releases, we would like to take the chance to clear up a few things to make life for us and you more easy, so we compiled a small "Ambient Support" FAQ.

For more information about the Ambient project please visit the Official Site.

<Quest for all Amiga fans on either the red or blue side!>

In a high stone tower on Elerion, far away from the world known to us, there have been recent events of which you shall be told. Agannazar, high archmage of the First Ones, waved his hand over the crystal ball, and the confusing veils of mystery that shrouded the view lifted. In the candle light, Agannazar suddenly understood things that had puzzled him before. Next to him stood Landon, an old sovereign from the island of Exevor, the northmost island of the old realms and look at him questioningly.

Let us just admit it. Amiga music was cool and still is. Nitro Nettradio is a service from Amitopia, helped by Polarboing.com to give everyone a great Amiga nettradio.

After the success of the previous offer and requests for alternative themes, we have decided to start another omnibus order for PEGASOS mouse pads.

This time, you can choose between two different mouse pads.

pegasos_mousepads.jpg

The cost for a mouse pad is 7,20 EUR for all pre-orderers (later, it will be about 8 EUR) plus shipping costs.

The pre-ordering period is running until 12.03.2005. The mouse pads will be produced in the following days. We do not know exactly how long the production will take but it took only a few days for the last batch of mouse pads. They should ship in April at the latest.

If you want to order a mouse pad, you can do so in the APC&TCP online shop. Foreign users are able to pay via Paypal. Of course, a simple email to order will do too. :)

In the support section of the APC&TCP website, you can find additional preview pics of the mousepads.
