Emerald Games have backported HyperCannon 1.0 from the iPhone to MorphOS. According to the developer, it runs much smoother thanks to the included TinyGL support.

Features:

  • 3D rendered visuals
  • many levels of gameplay
  • fully animated graphics
  • responsive touch controls
  • huge number of onscreen objects
  • awesome weapons and powerups
  • arcade and survival modes
  • massive end of level bosses
  • highscore table
  • also available for iPhone + iPodTouch

Requirements:
Pegasos, Efika or Mac Mini system with 3D graphics hardware that is supported by TinyGL. Playing via gamepad (USB or gameport)‏ is recommended. In terms of software, you need either MorphOS 1.4 or 2.x and lowlevel.library. AHI is used for sound output. If you experience problems, try increasing the number of sound channels (to at least 10).
