Each year you can vote for the best Amiga game of the previous twelve months. Now it's time for the Amiga Games Award 2012! To vote for the best MorphOS, AmigaOS 68k, AmigaOS 4, or AROS games, you can rate them at Amiga Games Award 2012. There will be no "global" winner but a winner by systems (MorphOS, AmigaOS 68k, AmigaOS 4.x and AROS). The final results will be published Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

The CygnusED webpage is online via a new URL - http://www.cygnused.de. CygnusED is currently produced by Olaf Barthel and is one of the most popular text editors for the Amiga. Albeit slowly, the development of the program is still continuing. We'd like to get your opinion and thoughts as to what features you'd wish for future versions of CygnusEd. Please let us know your ideas by writing to us in the support forum of CygnusEd's new webpages so that we can consider supporting them for the program's future releases.

Just in time for New Year there's another major update to our Amiga Software Database (ASD) at Amiga Future. In the last few weeks we've added and edited several hundred entries, and nearly 1000 new scans. Almost 5000 scanned images of original software/application packaging, manuals, etc. are now included in more than 3700 entries of the database. The next steps will include further additions of CD-ROMs, and (Cover-) Discs and Magazines, an estimated 2000 entries more will be available. Enjoy viewing the largest database of application software and literature related to the Amiga! By the way, issue 100 of the Amiga Future magazine is now available. It's ready and waiting for you to buy it at selected Amiga dealers or directly from our online shop.

eGame now works fully on MorphOS! eGame allows you to keep an easily searchable list of games for playing – rather than having to hunt through lots of folders using Workbench/Wanderer/Ambient. Please note that eGame is only able to start games that you can already run by double-clicking them.
