    @ Robin

Nothing to worry about, they have days when they do almost no units
then post 4 to 6 thousand. Just means if we stay consistant, when we
pass them, they will probably jump ahead of us a few times before
they are relagated to History :-)

Well, I started crunching... I've submitted one set of crunched blocks already (actually 2 or 3 by now).

However, I can't seem to find my blocks on the stats page. I've been at it for a few days now, but when I search with the e-mail address in the stats page, it can't find me.

    What am I doing wrong?

Did You set your e-mail in the Dnet client?
If not, the blocks you send will not be attributed to you?

    Ask Dr. Stupid,
    Dear Dr. Stupid,
Why do we have to go to school?
That's a very good question. It's becuse your parents are
ALIENS!!! When your at school they shed there human skins and

Well, those of us in the S.E. part of the United States may have been without power for a while. I know I was (and there are some areas that may be another week, week and a half, without power.

I did get my crunchers back up today though.

Face it - OS4 team people have AltiVec enabled. If there is no MOS 1.5 soon, they will overtake us, and we can do nothing about. Those 15 or so people having pre-1.5 kernel are not enough.

I don't think it's a bad thing. If you sum PPC AOS+MOS users we give some numbers!

"La union hace la fuerza" ;-)

Anyway, I am still in the Amiga group. And I don't have Altivec in my G3 :-P

And while we wait for 1.5 and Altivec support lets put up one
heck of fight. If they want to catch us, Make them work for it.
we still have more computers out that could help crunch.

Yea I know... i actually like the new banner ;-)
I just wish that more people would get the message
then in time... we would be trully competative with the
    top Ten Os's.

If MorphOS would start at 626,826 blocks and OS4/PUP/WUP would start at 211,102 blocks, MorphOS would crunch 3439 blocks per day and OS4/PUP/WUP woulc crunch 200 more per day. How many days would it take for OS4/WUP/PUP to surpass MorphOS? It must be ... eeh ... a very long time! ;-)
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

you stopped to crunch? wtf? no wonder we're getting only around 3000/day.

hmm... i think i'll add some protection to my next releases. The programs will only start when dnetc task can be found. :-)

Guess What?? the PowerPc Amiga OS Group is getting consistant
and churning Out about 4000 units per Day, I know at their current
pace it will take a while for them to catch us... But lets make them
fight for every inch, untill we get Altivec and can blow them away
    (figuratively)... keep crunching... :-)

We better should not look back, but forward. Hope to catch up x86 DOS before I am a 30 years old man (rumours tell that's going to happen in beginning of November - wow we're all getting older) but as a young 29er!
So guys and gals crunch, crunch crunch!

I'm crunching all the time, just not only rc5, but about 50/50 on rc5 andOGR now... jsut to help the stats a bit... was only doing OGR during the summer here, since it utilizes the G4 power better than RC5. On OGR the G4 punches out a whopping 18 Mnodes/s here at 1GHz, while my Athlon at 1,466GHz only manages about 12,8. And the Celeron 2,8GHz at work is around only 9-10 =)
OnyxSoft - Amigans never surrender, they know they can do it better...

    According to this news item
    http://www.amiga.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=4335
AmigaOS4 1.7 update has AltiVec kernel.

    Where is the MorphOS 1.5????????????

    Are we doomed? :-?

We're not Doomed!!! WE are Crunched... ;-)

also of note it appears one person using the new os4 update
is haveing problems with running Dnetc this might be why their stats
have dropped so recently... Its possible this is an Isolated
occurence, but with software updates that add new features there is
always a chance of some software being temporarily broken... Keep
crunching Mos1.5 should be here before they supercede us... right now
we need to get over the x86/dos hump first.

Well, I really hope we will see MOS 1.5 long before they overtake...
Should make a nice christmas present (even my crunch numbers won't rise
    with 1,5 since I have a G3).
