Eeeks, thanks to Altivec-OS4 the Red Party accelerated by 50%. :-o

Could have been a lot more, since Altivec RC5 crunching is almost three times as fast ...
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

I just switched from "Distributed Amiga" to "Distributed Pegasos Team", I hope I'll be of some help. :) I havn't got my Peggy hooked up on it yet though, I have no internet access for it...

    Cheers mate! :pint: :bloons:

But why don't you have Internet access for your Pegasos?

Strange thing indeed. I guess it's a hack of some kind. The MOS team is known to belong more to the "x86 is the evil itslef" ;-) preachers so I doubt that there will be a (public!) MOS for x86.
And if asked me, I wouldn't see any sense in that too.

WTF - MOS x86 is catching up... It wasn't just a 1 block joke, but now there came 32 additional blocks to the first one...
    Someone an explanation for this?

    Thanks luky-amiga,

Every extra Key helps....Hopefully we will be able to hold
them off for a while with 1.4, even better would be for us to get
Mos1.5 within 100 Days or so.

On a High note... Aprox. 7 Days and we overcome X86/Dos :-)

Yeah... OS4 put in almost 6000 blocks yesterday and they're doing that consistently. At this rate they'll overtake MOS in April - about 6 months...

Well, I tried to install Miami once but it didn't work out, seems i need installer.exe which I don't have... and I'm the kind of guy that doesn't bother if it doesn't work immediately. Waiting for MOS 1.5 to get me online.

Tokai, I guess you did a little overclocking to 10 Ghz and continue to contribute that many blocks daily now?

nah.. thanks has to go all who contributed, i just collected a little bit to make some positive statement, and w/o Jupp3s help it wouldn't have worked out anyway. :-)

Hope that motivates a few more ppl to crunch keys for keeping the Pole Position!

    regards,

If only everyone who used to crunch Dnetc and no longer does would just crunch, we could go over 6000 per day easy everyday. With 120 people crunching an average of 40 units per day we would be steady at aprox. 4800 per day. It is obvious that those of us who are crunching are doing more then that...

120 x 80 = 9600 ;-) maybe 80 per day average will only be possible with Altivec, but it is obvious we have #'s on our side.... Lets us it to our advantage!!!

    Finally! :-D

They were a bit annoying IMHO, they had this tendency to crunch at very low numbers, but then suddenly a massive amount of blocks flowed in, pushing the take-over date yet a bit further down the road ...

:pint: Cheers - but now it will take some time again to get a 'strike'. Hope there will be Altivec support soon to accelerate the race (even my G3 is not interested at all in Altivec..)

    71 units per day is possible without Altivec on my Pegasos II G4 1GHz - aprox. 3,5mil kyes/sec (1 unit - 3.9mil keys/sec)

    http://stats.distributed.net/participant/psummary.php?project_id=8&id=442203

I am looking forward at MorphOS 1.5 with Altivec support,
more than 200 units per day! :-o

And what about 120 Pegasos II G4 with MOS 1.5 running RC5-72 all day - aprox. 24.000 units per day (TOP 5)!!! ;-)

I know that bears sleep some month in wintertime,
seems that bplan slept during summer and woke up
    now submitting the blocks ;-)
