    Well, you only have stats for RC5 and there are a lot of people crunching OGR instead. I switched back to OGR a week ago or so on most of my computers since I think it's more worth the time to calculate mathematical problems to help in science and research, than just security issues.

    So the Peg is still crunching mostly 24/7, but not RC5 all the time, simple as that =)

    >hey ppl! What's up? The rate goes down and down? I hope it's just a result of the hot sommer days!

    *surprise surprise*

    Everything would look different with the use of Altivec.

    @tarbos:

    if everyone would install and use the client then the rate would go up a lot too (maybe around 6000/day).

    There is now also the pegasos-Team which you could join (even with other computers :-) )

    Don't forget "and set it to crunch rc5-72" in that sentence...

    As i said in the previous post, a lot of people crunch OGR-25 instead, so MorphOS is climbing in that list too =)

    My G4 at 1GHz crunches OGR 2,35 times faster per MHz than my Athlon XP =D

    OGR is boring :-)

    And we do not have such nice statistics for OGR than for RC5-72 (morphos-news.de). :-) But main problem is that some ppl are not crunching anything.

    Well, I do crunch all the time, but I don't upload my results untill there will be atleast a huge amount of packets... If this will happen, I will flush my output buffer and the addition should be... nice :-)

    And everyone here should notice it ;-)

    Bye, MarK.

    Ehrm, what makes OGR boring and not RC5-72? I like to help keeping the Distributed Amiga team on it's 3rd position there.

    And without Altivec it's better utilization of my G4's power to crunch OGR at the moment. It crunches almost 17 Gnodes/s... compare that to my Athlon 1,466 GHz that only manages like 10,5 or the crappy Celeron 2,6 GHz here at work which only manages around 9,5 :-)

    Hmm, didn't see that.

    So why were they not counted daily as usual?

    @DJBase

    Its good to see the pegasos Team breach the top 500, Glad I could be of Help!!

    @all Morph Dnet'ers

    The overall Morphos Daily count is back to near 3000 units a day. If we can keep this pace hopefully we will pass X/86 dos by end of Year!! If we can maintain 3500 units a day or my pre 1.5mos dream of 4000 a day. We would be sailing steadily toward the top 10!!

    our rate is still very low. Where are all the contributing ppl left?

    we have >1000 peg user, say 200 out of them will crunch keys. that would be around 40MKeys/person/day -> 200*40 = 8000MKeys/day in total.

    Come one! We can reach that level! :-)

    Give us AltiVec-enabled MorphOS-Version and there will be much more.

    The PowerPC/Amiga OS try to catch up with us, they have 188,089 Total Blocks and did 2,547 Blocks yesterday. And if they got Altivec enabled befor we does they could pass us!

    Maybe some competition from the PowerPC/Amiga Squad, will
    encourage more participation. Remember how much we were able
    to crunch when people thought that Mos1.5 was tied to the RC72?
    Their is no reason we cannot maintain 4000 per day at
    minimum. Come on everyone Give it a try again. Even if you only
    crunch when you are using your computer, every little bit helps!!
