Legends never die: Eight years after the release of Hollywood Designer 4.0, Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working men in code business, are finally proud to present the long awaited fifth incarnation of our famous Hollywood Designer. Hollywood Designer 5.0 is a multimedia authoring system that runs on top of Hollywood and can be used to create all sorts of multimedia-based applications, for example presentations, slide shows, games, and applications. Thanks to Hollywood, all multimedia applications created using Hollywood Designer can be exported as stand-alone executables for the following systems: AmigaOS3, AmigaOS4, WarpOS, MorphOS, AROS, Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. This is a feature that is totally unique in the Amiga world!

A blast from the past! Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working men in code business, are proud to present the XMP plugin for Hollywood. Once this plugin is installed, Hollywood will "automagically" be able to play almost all flavours of Amiga & PC tracker module formats. All formats that are supported by the Extended Module Player library (XMP) by Claudio Matsuoka and Hipolito Carraro Jr can now be played with Hollywood! For example FastTracker II, ScreamTracker, OctaMED, The Player 4/5/6, NoisePacker, ProRunner, Oktalyzer, Impulse Tracker, Ultra Tracker, Ice Tracker, Liquid Tracker, Quadra Composer, and many more.

Additionally, a demo applet which demonstrates the playback of an OctaMED file is included. This applet can also be run using the freely available Hollywood Player so people who don't own the full version of Hollywood can check it out as well.

The MorphOS development team is proud to announce the release of the MorphOS Software Development Kit 3.14 (November 2019).

This new version contains updated binutils and addresses a few minor issues such as disk space requirements as it reduces the size of installation by about 1 gigabyte.

Our new SDK requires MorphOS 3.12 and about 2 GB of free disk space and can be found in our files section. As usual, a separate source package is available for download as well.

The MorphOS development team is proud to announce the release of the MorphOS Software Development Kit 3.14 (October 2019).

Our new software development kit advances a number of key technologies enabled by updates to the latest binutils 2.32, ports of the most recent versions of the GCC7, GCC8 and GCC9 compilers as well as a newer perl.

The threading models in GCC5 and up were changed to posix, enabling better libstdc++ compatibility in std::thread, etc thanks to the new ports of libpth and libpthread. A switch to the DWARF2 Exception Handling Model improves performance of C++ code of up to 30 percent. Objective-C ARC is now supported on MorphOS thanks to the introduction of the ObjFW runtime and other advances in compiler ports.

This plugin can be used to create and view PDF documents from Hollywood scripts and contains the most advanced PDF rendering engine available on Amiga systems. Version 1.2 is a minor update and contains some fixes and minor improvements.

The plugin is now available for download from the official Hollywood portal. Thanks to Hollywood's cross-platform plugin system versions for AmigaOS3 (m68k, m881), AmigaOS 4, MorphOS, WarpOS, AROS (x86), Linux (ppc, arm, x86, x64), macOS (ppc, x86, x64), Windows (x86, x64) and Android (arm, arm64) are provided.

WinUAE users please note that you need at least version 4.2.1 because previous versions have a bug in the emulation of Motorola's 68020 CPU which makes Polybios crash.

This plugin can be used to create and view PDF documents from Hollywood scripts and contains the most advanced PDF rendering engine available on Amiga systems.

Version 1.1 is a major update which adds support for lots of functionality required by people who would like to write a PDF viewer with Polybios. It is now possible to get text, bookmarks, and links from PDF pages. It is also possible to search PDF pages for a given string and it is also possible to get the position of text inside PDF pages (needed for implementing highlighting). Finally, it's also possible to get metadata from PDF pages. On top of that, there are also some important bug fixes.
