Six years after introducing USB to the Amiga Classic, E3B (Michael B?hmer) and PCP (Chris Hodges) are pleased to announce the new USB 2.0 Zorro II/III DMA controller DENEB.

DENEB is available from now on directly at E3B and selected Amiga dealers.

Why is this relevant for MorphOS? Because the card also works under MorphOS PUP and can be used to boot MorphOS PUP directly from FlashRom.

LCD Monitor Test ApplicationIlkka Lehtoranta has released a new application for owners of LCD monitors. The software offers extensive tests and even a repair function for the common phenomenon of 'stuck pixels'.It includes the following features:

  • Defective Pixels. Find out if your LCD screen has dead, stuck or hot pixels.
  • Flicker. Test how much your LCD monitor flickers.
  • Gradient. Evaluate how precise your monitor is at displaying gray scale gradients. (This test is available only in MorphOS.)
  • Contrast. Check how well your monitor reproduces different shades of colours.
  • Black Level. Test your monitor's ability to show very dark shades of colour.
  • Viewing Angle. Review by how much your monitor's picture quality is affected by your viewing angle.
  • Pixel Fixer. Fix defective pixels of your LCD monitor.
