Realstar did a quick port of the HuC PCEngine/Turbografx C compiler to MorphOS. This is a great companion to TGEmu since it allows the creation of freeware roms that run on the emulator.

SMART NETWORKS DEVELOPER FORUM, FRANKFURT, GERMANY - SEPT. 30, 2004 - Genesi Open Desktop Workstations based on the Pegasos II were used during a hands-on Linux workshop the last day of Freescale's Smart Networks Developer Forum Europe (SNDF Europe). The PowerPC® architecture, with the AltiVec SIMD engine, is an excellent alternate architecture for Linux applications, and the Genesi Pegasos II system comes equipped with the MPC7447 PowerPC processor from Freescale and the Marvell Discovery II northbridge.

Intermediware is currently searching for a MorphOS or Amiga Coder who will help to port their game Psychoballs ( Information at: www.intermediaware.de?lan=english ) to MorphOS, Amiga 68k, and/or OS4.

Frescale are to show off 7 new chips at SNDF.

The replacement for the 7447A, the imaginatively titled 7448 is revealed along with a bunch of other PPC and PowerQuicc devices.

James Rhodes of SeaScape Software, from North America, sold commercial Amiga hard- and software as an Authorised Commodore Amiga Dealer. He also distributed Amiga software from Europe, and shareware and freeware titles until the early 90s when Commodore closed down. Afterward, he switched to the Mac platform, but has announced to concentrate software development efforts on the Pegasos/MorphOS platform.
