A new english version of the Pegasos book has been released.
The document is now 151 pages. Only the UAE part is not translated yet.

For the MorphOS section, this version includes a tutorial for compiling CVS Ambient and updates on memories and HD installation.
For the Linux section, this version includes a tutorial for installing KDE and Enlightenment E17 on Linux Ubuntu 5.10, and a tutorial for installing Linux Suse 10.0.
A new section containing information about LiveCDs has also been created (AROS, Freevo...)

Starting from our 10th of February meeting, South Essex Amiga Link (SEAL) will be holding its meetings at a new venue in Wickford, Essex. The new hall has better facilities including a licenced bar and if you get bored ballroom dancing in the hall next door!

Google launches Video Marketplace

LAS VEGAS, NV - Jan. 6, 2006 - Live from the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) announced the planned opening of the Google Video Store, the first open video marketplace enabling consumers to buy and rent a wide range of video content from a major television network, a professional sports league, cable programmers, independent producers and film makers.

[editors note - There is plenty of opportunity here for MorphOS in the area of video content creation.]

We have reviewed Desert Racing for the Classic Amiga, BlobWars for AmigaOS 4 and Virtual GP for MorphOS.

New version of ShowGirls is available. ShowGirls is a powerfull image viewer/browser and processing application. Version 0.8 fixes some bugs and adds new features which probably introduces new problems. Various functions were improved and enchanced. Read more for feature list and list of changes in this version.
