Today the 50th issue of the Amiga Future (#60 May/June 2006) has been released.

This means that all subscriptions and preorders have been brought to the postal office today.

If you wonder why it's the 50th issue but the issue has the number 60: The first issue of the Amiga Future has been distributed by the ICP Verlag. Because of some terms of distribution this issue had to carry the number 11.

The magazine can be obtained directly at the editorial office in the APC&TCP online shop and also some Amiga dealers.

AmiGG is an instant messenger application which can handle Gadu-Gadu protocol (Gadu-Gadu protocol is widely spreaded in Poland). Right now AmiGG may not be useful for many of you but pretty soon plugin system will be implemented and another protocols will be supported (Jabber, Tlen (also known in Poland) and more).

To celebrate this we have decided to push down the prices of many APC&TCP products in the online shop permanently.

APC&TCP is more active than ever. CygnusEd 5 is right before its release and also the release of MED Soundstudio 2 is coming closer and closer.

AmiRevival aims to be the premier Amiga Show in the UK, and with that in mind we have booked a large, technology orientated venue right in the centre of Scunthorpe. We hope to be able to draw some high calibre exhibitors and maybe even one or 2 VIP's. Please check out our Exhibitors section to see who have already agreed to exhibit, and please check back regulally as we are willing to do all in our power to make this show the best we possibly can. As well as this there will be a Raffle, and several games competitions going on.

Since today you can find the preview and try-outs of the Amiga Future #60 online.

The issue is going to be available on 5th May 2006 and will be available directly from the editorial office and some Amiga dealers.

Besides a brand new review of CygnusEd 5, the Amiga Emulation Box and Retro Classix you can find of course many other articles in this issue.

On the cover CD you can find besides the full versions of StormC, Wendetta, Larry and the Robbery of the Ardies, Antispyrel and TinToy Adventure the unreleased game Dragons Kingdom aswell as the newest version of AmiKit.
As a very special bonus we have included some music tracks by Andreas Stürmer in the MP3 format on the cover CD.

A deeper description of contents and try-outs can be found here: http://www.amigafuture.de/forum/kb.php?mode=article&k=568

Please notice that we celebrate a small anniversary. The first person who sends us an email (redaktion@amigafuture.de Subject: "Jubiläum") telling what is meant by that will receive a trial subscription of the Amiga Future for free beginning with the issue 59. And no, we don't celebrate the "#60". :)
(the judges' decision is final, editors of the Amiga Future aren't allowed to take part and so on...)
