    Excellent. Now, the safest thing to do is to copy all the files to another drive, reformat, and copy back.

    You'll probably be ok if you don't. I don't know PFS as I never used it. But it's what I would do.

    PFS3 is one of the best pieces of software the Amiga have seen. I use it on every partition with OS3/MOS since ~20 years and never lost a single file. If there was a problem, DiskDoctor repaired it. I run DD in "Check" mode every 6 month or so.

    You can do what 'KennyR' suggested, but from my experience, it's not necessary.

    Just the window flickering is suboptimal.
