PegasosPPC.com Store Order Upgrade Orders 487, 392, 380, 377, 352, 344, 277, 236, 212, 201, 189, 173, 171, 123, 102, 89, 54 and 17 will be shipped (who are you!?) when the Pegasos I returned is confirmed to be where it is to arrive.

We thought more people would return the Pegasos I.

Do these numbers mean maybe over 500 people have upgraded?..

@ironfist/Kristian - no, regular orders for the Open Desktop Workstation, the Pegasos II G4, and especially the Pegasos II G3 at $299 are included in the invoice numbers. For example, in the last few days we have shipped the Pegasos II G3 to Japan, Hungary, Poland, Germany and Norway. We have less than FIVE left.

@sprocki - go to the PegasosPPC Store, login and go through the process. If the price looks good you can buy it, if not just don't complete the transaction.

I'm thinking about upgrading (submitted the mac adress already, but what do I have to send to Greece? board + cpu-card + backplate?

Or am I missing something?

Well, I returned the board, cpu-card, backplane and 1x 256MByte + 1x 64MByte RAM - as I know they worked well with the PegI and I had no use for them anymore.

Here is what is to be done:

Thank you for participating in the Pegasos I G3 to Pegasos II G4 Upgrade Program. Now that we have your MAC address (XXXXXXXXXXXXX00) on file, you can proceed to order your Pegasos II board.

The procedure is as follows:

* Reply to this mail, or send a seperate email to sales@pegasosppc.com, attaching your original proof of purchase (a scan or forwarded email from your reseller or the Genesi store will suffice).

* Click the link at the bottom of the mail to access the special order page and add the appropriate option to your Shopping Cart.

* Order your Pegasos II via the store as normal.

* If you chose the trade-in deal, send your original board, at your expense, to the following address:

congrats to the good sales, I hope it will go on for some time. If I hade the money to day I would have gone for the G3 myself. I can just hope that you will succed keeping this low price. With your deal with Yellow dog and Gentoo it seams to me that Peg 2 is a good choise to spend my money on.

But it would be nice to read some speks on upcoming cpu cards...

BTW, on the last day Germany ALMOST caught up to France (as in overtime with a 4-5 shootout) and Finland moved into the #5 position.

We are very happy to have finally managed to do the Pegasos I to II upgrade.
