Let's see if us UK MorphOS users can set a small pebble rolling:

5 signatures needed to get it online:

I’ve made a petition – will you sign it?

Click this link to sign the petition:
    https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/140076/sponsors/9qwEMuGnUKRiKEmzjjxl

    My petition:

Call a General Election immediately for a fresh mandate re post-EU negotiations.

I'm much more inclined to call a second independence referendum so that we (Scotland) don't need to leave the EU in the first place, and actually have a chance of getting a government we voted for.

Rumblings suggest the Labour party may be in favour of this, at least in terms of willingness to concede support to a second referendum if elected.

The 2015 General Election results formed the mandate upon which the Conservative government held the June 2016 EU referendum. This election provided no mandate for the Conservative Government to renegotiate Britain's place in the worlds of trade and international politics.

There are good arguements on both sides. Sadly, few of them were made during the referendum campaign.

It needs 5 initial signatures to 'get published'. Once it 'gets published' it then goes public on the petitions.gov site, and is advertised to the public.
It's a bit weird, don't know why they don't show the body of the petition until then, even just to confirm what is being signed. Never posted one before.

As to your second point: no. Labour are unionist. If anything, Labour getting into power down south would only result in indyref failing as we wouldn't have to put up with austerity, NHS destruction and Boris.

As to your first, England will not vote for Corbyn's Labour anyway. The only Labour party that England would vote for would be one composed of neo-Blairite scum, and only if they toned down all their identity politics and political correctness. The only difference between them and the Tories is that the Tories don't think straight white people are evil.

In various surveys, the Libertarian Party´s candidate Gary Johnson, who is a former governor and long-time member of the Republican Party, polls at close to 10%. Whether those numbers will hold up until the election is anybody´s guess but third-party candidates migh benefit from the high unfavorability ratings of both main party candidates.

The thought of inflicting Boris, austerity and NHS destruction on the rest of us as 'collateral damage' isn't nice. Although 58% of my voting age neighbours may frankly deserve it, the rest of us don't. In an adult and functioning democracy, we have plurality to thank for balancing the idiot effect most of the time: we need you.
Sadly, in this case, we were offered a binary choice on a complex issue when very few understood the true ramifications of leaving. In no small part because the genuine warnings were bookended by endless fearmongering bullshit.
The 'leave' side had lies and fear of their own in the official campaign, but had the convenient high-profile bullshitter Farage spouting nonsense which - whilst the 'leae' campaign can legitimately claim was not theirs - was deliberately presented alongside, and given equal voice, in the rightwing press.

Hillary is the biggest criminal to ever get the nomination for a major party in the US. How she is not stamping license plates in federal prison right now shows how corrupt the whole system is.

I've refused to see politics as a binary option since at least 1992 when I supported Perot. The 2 party system in the US is a joke, a really bad joke. Both sides pretty say whatever it takes to get elected, then end up being the same shit as always. I am not a Trump fan as I don't trust the blowhard whatsoever. There is no way he suddenly became a conservative overnight. He went from supporting 3rd trimester partial birth abortion (killing full term babies near due date by delivering breach and sucking their brains out through a tube before the head comes out) to being against abortion completely? Bull shit.

I've leaned toward Libertarian recently but now even Gary Johnson is showing himself to be a fraud just as his poll numbers indicate he has better than a snowball's chance in hell. Gary Johnson is suddenly praising Bernie Sanders and practically calling him a soulmate.

There is no viable option in the election this time, period.

He was specifically referencing the website isidewith.com which indicated that he had a lot in common with Sanders. Feel free to take their 2016 quiz.

Yet time after time you consistently vote differently from us. I still remember the 80s were Scotland voted again and again to get rid of Thatcher as she took our industries apart and turned our cities into smack-added slums. Even as the brave new unregulated economy stagnated and the Tory party filled up with sleaze and corruption and it seemed everyone wanted rid of them, it wasn't until the infamous bluerinse brigade all died of old age that the possibility of being led by someone else became reality.

History will repeat itself. Right wing populism will rule until the current crop of Brexiters have all died and the babyboomers no longer have any voting power. In the meantime, the will of Scotland's people will continue to be ignored without the protection of the EU until there's nothing left but a collection of call centres and ghettos -- no oil, no science, no renewables. Maybe then we'll be able to influence the vote again, but the country would be ruined by then.

The Blairites are already aiming for Corbyn's political head, despite them being undemocratic progressivist pussies that nobody will ever vote for on a month of Sundays. Soon you'll have no political left at all, just like the US - except the SNP. And it's not fair for us to keep enforcing a opposition on you that you don't vote for, is it?

Calling people racist if they don't agree with you is the hallmark of neo-progressives, and why the Labour party got kicked out so hard. However I can't help but call a population stupid if they all go google what the EU is after they leave it. Come on man, that's stupid.
