Due to a limited bandwidth at our temporary location, MorphZone will be running in "limited bandwidth" mode. All of us at MorphZone apologize for the inconvenience, but we have to make an effort to serve everyone as best we can. Please keep in mind that these limitations will only be in effect until we are back at our normal server.

Limited Bandwidth Mode:

-No uploading of Avatars
-Must be logged in to Download
-All unnecissary images only viewable when logged in.
-Polls will not appear on the front page

Thanks, everyone, for your understanding in this matter.

The MorphOS Team is happy to announce a new registration website for its user
support services, namely mailing lists and the MorphOS download portal.

If you are a MorphOS user and did not receive the download instructions for the
MorphOS 1.4.4 update, you are not subscribed to the MorphOS [info] mailing list.
We suggest to visit http://support.morphos-team.net/ and follow the instructions.
Please note that once the registration process is complete, you are not
automatically subscribed to the mailing lists. This requires additional steps.

There are currently two mailing lists available. One is open for general
discussion of MorphOS-related matters and another is specifically used to post
MorphOS announcements and user information. Instructions on how to join either
or both of these lists will be mailed to you during your registration.

Sincerely,
The MorphOS Team

To all MorphOS users

Celebrating the 6th anniversary of MorphOS, version 1.4.4 is now available. This is hopefully the last bugfix update before the next full release, and solves many bugs and problems with the previous releases.

Please note that the update is currently only available to users who have registered themselves. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the MorphOS support site is currently down. Users who have not yet registered will have to wait for a few days while a new registration system is prepared. A new announcement will be made when it is ready. The support mailinglist will also be restored shortly, please have some patience.

Fixes in the 1.4.4 release include support for large harddrives, ability to read DVDs in their entirety, important bug fixes to SFS, audio, 68k emulation, network card drivers and many other things. See releasenotes for more information.

"Did You Know" has returned to MorphZone!

That's right, the infamous system of blind advice has returned to MorphZone to provide all with the advice of the sages in a totally random manner!

What's more, if you feel like being an oracle of knowledge yourself, take the time to drop a MorphOS, Pegasos, or MorphZone hint in the appropriate FORUM. We are always happy to add knowledge to the blind sage machine!

You can fetch it from http://www.ppa.pl/software/software-wgetgui_eng.html or using update form older version of WallGet. It'll be also uploaded to MorphZone downloads soon. (ed. note: available already!)
