#amigazeux is happy to announce the availability of Wetter for MorphOS and AmigaOS.

Wetter is a desktop weather display client which uses http://www.wunderground.com to find and display local weather. It can be set to any city wunderground supports and will graphically display current weather conditions in a user-configurable way.

    thanks for it

but it points out another problem among morphOS apps developpers IMO. We already have Weather 1.1 which does the same, or almost. And MorphOS lacks so many softwares ... why don"t developpers communicate instead of developping similar softwares, that's so many hours of coding and efforts for twin softwares...
Congratulations for the nice work you've done anyway

Well, Wetter was started somewhen in May 2004 and I suppose Marcik just started with his Weather thingy after he had seen our little toy on some screenshots or something similar. So the ball was in Marciks field I suppose :-?

BTW, what kind of apps are you missing?

Well, when I started Weather I didn't know about Wetter. After ~3 days of work my pal told me, that you have already the same app since a long time. But I mine was pretty much completed then, so I just keept doing my job, and relased it after 2 more days :-). Otherwise, even if Wetter is better than Weather my job isn't wasted, because my main point in writting it was learning how to use MOSMedia, and prase XML files, because I need this to my new bigger project :-).
