What's New in MorphOS 3.10?
The "What's New in MorphOS 3.10?" article has just been published on the MorphOS Library. It presents the main features and changes of the new MorphOS version in a visual way.

Read the article here.

Nice to see the library all "spruced-up", and with in-line images for articles once again, which all looks a lot more professional. Thanks guys

Addtional to what I said above, I should also add that there isn't much mention of the hardware used/tested with the implementation of the USB Isochronous mode, such as soundcards (internal and external), and also any webcams that work with this new feature.

There is also no real mention of the latest printing scheme that's been implemented integrated fully into MorphOS with v3.10, and how you get it to work.

Neither are there any recent/modern printers that have been added to the list, that are known to work with the new scheme, and still currently available, as some of the ones listed seem to be 20+ years old, and are a lot more than just likely to be no longer working or gone for recycling already.

So up-to-date hardware needs to be mentioned, where applicable, and addressed in as much detail as possible by the Development Team or any other authorised library updater, so it can be mentioned fully in the library for everyone's information, and for any new arrivals for our OS that may yet become interested in MorphOS

@NewSense: for isochronous and audio USB devices, two cheap external devices have been tested : Behringer UCA 202 and UCA 222. They are sold for about 30€.

Yes, Tcheko, thanks for that reminder, that I am already aware of, as you already posted that information in the thread I started on the, What Isochronous hardware works/was tested with v3.10?. Which frankly should have been in the Release Notes for v3.10 and since then updated in the revamped MorphOS Library &/or on MorphOS webpages

Also, if there is any other hardware that becomes relevant for this feature please keep it up-to-date in the MorphOS Library as that is where it should be for reference - in our library. It should also have been explained, and detailed in the release notes, but it seems to have been forgotten or 'glossed-over'. So, here I am, and probably other users as well, 'like mushrooms - kept in the dark and fed on $h17". At least that's how I feel, but I am grateful for you adding some information into the topic, but this information should have been documented for all users in the release notes, on the MorphOS web pages, &/or put in the library as a good reference, rather than being offered-up 'piece-by-piece' in the forum, when requested to "cough-it-up".

I am grateful for all your hard work over the last few years, and will continue to be so, but some sort of logical storage (library) of such information needs to be part of the process of developing the MorphOS, so we can all have something to refer to, that has been developed and implemented for our OS, or we will be back in this position time-and-time-again unless you all on the Development Team make the time/effort to let us all know what is relevant, when that becomes the case, and put it in the library.

Don't take these remarks as personal, they are not meant to be taken that way, they are borne out of frustration, of waiting for the release for so long, and then to feel not as impressed with the overall feel/result - some of that being due to a lack of offered up information, and/or even a lack of progress/improvement for some features due to a lack of certain developers' time, 'Fab' in particular, which I hope you are all able to take on board, and improve on in the future.

I appreciate, for me, this is a free update, but personally, there's not a lot to show for it visually/effectively at this time, as you may have gathered from my comments, which I still feel are mainly justified, even if other users don't want this to be said - it needs saying, and it needs to be acted upon to improve any future release, and our library. 8-D
