Oliver "Olli" Wagner reportedly passed away at age 45 on Wednesday, July 27. He was one of the original authors of well-known MorphOS & Amiga applications such as the Voyager web browser as well as the AmIRC chat client, which was highly influential and often copied on other platforms. In recent years, he managed Tick TS AG, a company that develops and markets trading software to banks and other clients.

I had no idea he was so young! I thought he was an older Amiga MorphOS user and developer, closer to my own (old fart) age.
It is an unfortunate fact that many Amiga enthusiasts are passing away in recent years, but most of those reported in the last year or two were for people who were much older than Oliver. Did the news item that reported his death give a cause for this untimely departure? Cancer, as noted in the thread.
