Nice. I will see what my 500 MHz PowerMac can do with it accompanied by Radeon 9200. Probably not much, but at least I have over a gigabyte of memory.

It seems that the MacOS version is happy with a 500Mhz powermac

You're right. I remenber playing RTCW on Mac OS X (Power Mac G4 450 MHz with Radeon (7000 ?)) some years ago. The animation was smooth but I can't remenber the resolution. Perhaps it was a simple 640x480.

Here with MorphOS 2.7 on Power Mac G4 1250 MHz and Radeon 9100, the game is smooth in 1280x1024 with max settings. However, this game is a bit more slow than Quake 3.

To my surprise the game runs only a bit slower on 500 MHz PowerMac compared to Pegasos 2. However I have a better graphic card in PMac (Radeon 9200) than in my Pegasos (Radeon 9250). The game is playable on both machines, but sometimes it can slow down to some 8 - 10 frames per second, which is a bit irritating. I've also noticed that difference in speed between 640 x 480 and 1024 x 768 is almost not noticeable.

hahah I second that one. Only 1 year later! dont know what took so long, but I guess that goat sacrifice that some morphos users did at Stonehenge worked!

That's because with 3D games the resolution doesn't matter as long as the GPU's fill rate is undercut.

    Excellent port
Works fine both on Powermac as Ibook G4.

Is it possible to get it running in window mode?
I have not seen option in the game for that.
