Fab the Favicon support really rocks but some of the icons are not shown in the bookmark buttons, like ebay.de gmx.net and cinemaxx.de f.e.

    Superb, thanks for this release.

    I have one feature request:

Could something like http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/13184 be implemented? Best would be something like you get in AWeb's "Project" -> "Info..." window.

Yes, check "network/experimental cookies system" in settings. GMail only works with it enabled.

The bad news is that the new cookies system can also have some issues with some other sites (login may fail for some), because it's still quite young. So as long as both cookies systems have their flaws (they are not specific to morphos, btw), I keep them both optional.

Found out that OWB 1.5 is really slow, eating 100% CPU Power on certain pages for quite a long time,
    compared to OWB 1.4
I cant really reproduce it. It happens for example with facebook app/mafia wars which i play sometimes.
    got unplayble now :/

While I consider password managers as a tool of the devil (passwords should be kept by humans, not computers), I agree that people find them very confortable.

This Internet Explorer 7 still confuses "favicons" from one site to another...

In all, what Fabien is achieving is great, and very uncommon in this Amiga land.

Certainly not standard behaviour, unless you happen to read japanese sites and still have MOSSYS:fonts/_ttf included in the fonts.conf file. But it's no different from previous OWB versions.

    FAB does it again!!
The password manager is something I have hoped for for some time 8-)
And now with the spoofing options I can now use my online banking! Idiots at my bank have it set to only support certain browsers one of which is Safari which is webkit like OWB anyway!

Thanks for your continuous effort on OWB. May we again see a lite version for Efika users?
I found out that password manager has a small problem. On some sites I get asked several times for saving my password alothough I already answered 'no', e.g. on web.de I get asked 4 times, on forum.mini-pc-pro.de 2 times. I do not know why it differs but even two times is too much when I already answered 'no'. Can you fix this one?
MayI also suggest to use the new introduced favicons as closing gadgets? Would save some space and look better, I believe.

It's likely asked for each redirection. Not sure if i'll be able to workaround that.

About Lite version, maybe for next version. Maintaining 3 builds is a bit boring. :)

But Lite version is just one more. Pleeeeeeease :-)
BTW: when you have several tabs open and close one of them, OWB does not return to the pre-last visited tab but to the one left to the clsed one. Can youtrack history of visited tabs to return to the one which was open right before the closed one?
And what about a switch that allows to always open last session (with several tabs open) instead of answering the question on every startup whether one wants to restore session or not?
Also it would be fine to see the last used tab before quitting on top next time you open OWB again.

OWB shows a little issue here: When started the first address entered gets not resolved. It hangs for a wile and then says it canot reah that address. All subsequent addresses get resolved immediately. It is only the first adress entered after the launch of OWB.
Also I observed, that sometimes OWB shows the home address in the addressbar instead of the actual address. F.e. now the addressbar shows google.de... (network communication thread activated, experimental cookie system activated).

About that first resolution taking time, it's more about your network than something else. Nothing can be done from my side. :)
And if network thread is enabled like you said, then there's no reason it would hang the GUI.

Regarding that URL address thing, i can't reproduce that at all. Someone reported me a similar issue, but it had to do with using the popup history, and it only happened in autocompletion modes where popup is disabled (some unwanted notification sideeffect).

about the url thing: Indeed it is not the home address but some address from the history. History address appears as soon as the last typed in host got resolved.
Correct address gets displayed again when clicking in the top border region of that tab. Address completition is not enabled.
I had this behaviour a few times, dunno though, how to elicitate it.

I fixed that since, but if you want to avoid it, you can just enable popup autocompletion mode.

OWB 1.5 for MOS is far ahead of OWB 3.x for OS4.1, thanks for the great work, fab!

But I have a feature request, that should not be too hard to implement. As far as I understand, OWB saves it's session from time to time and this session can be restored from that saved file in case of an unexpected closure of OWB. When I close OWB normally, the session file is reset to the near-empty default page and by restarting OWB I only get the default start page.
Wouldn't it be nice to have OWB keep the session file if demanded by the user, so that the last session could be restored even if the browser was closed normally? That's whar Firefox does in perfection and I really love this feature. :)
