Hello from old new user :) after I lost my uA1c (dead cpu module) I decide to try MOS on MacMini..after some testing install last MOS 3.1 and ultimate pack....and ... today make MOS registration :) I miss my oS4 but for now this HW and MOS will be OK!

PS.I have bunch of question :)

There is a nice OS4 theme called `ofour` if you like :o) I use it, i`ve always liked it.

Which Mac-Mini did you get?

You may want to add your registration number to the MorphOS registration counter thread (1632 on 10/10/12 being the latest I could see from a quick skim-read).

Welcome to MorphOS, and about the OS4 the best system is the Sam440ep and it has 700 or 800 Mhz very slow to play modern videos, with the Mac to 1,5 GHz and MOS you can see videos in HD and high compression level as mp4 and flv.

No, the best OS4 system is currently the AmigaOne X1000, followed by the Pegasos II G4, Sam460ex (AmigaOne 500), AmigaOne XE G4/G3 and MicroA1-C. Only then come the Pegasos II G3, AmigaOne SE and Sam440ep(-flex) (800, 733, 667, 600 and 533 MHz).

Man, the best OS4 system is the X1000 but its 2500 euros no, and the Pegasos runingn OS4 I don't know, I can speak about the Sams because I have three and for me the best is the Sam440ep because the OS4 and the drivers run perfectly while the Sam460ex well with OS4.2 but in all cases we need PPC hardware with speed to play the current videos and movies formats, fro example the mp4, or flv.

Then let me tell you that the Pegasos II G4 runs circles around even the fastest Sam440ep(-flex).

I bet that current videos and movie formats run better on all the other platforms I mentioned than on any Sam440ep(-flex).

Good to see you here as a new MorphOS user! Ultimate Pack really is a nice way to get a turn key power MorphOS system.

As a former AmigaOS user most things should feel pretty familiar. Still, documentation is a bit lacking so you may have questions. Ask away with questions. By and large we are a nice bunch here
