    Hello,

is there any good Paint/Effects/Gfx-program (like PerfectPaint)
    that runs 100 % with MorphOS 1.3?

PerfectPaint crashes the system sometimes and PPaint
    doesn't run fully, too.

    Regards

    For drawing, I'd recommend... TVPaint!

"FX Paint", "TV Paint" and "ImageFX" are all
good and work fine on MorphOS1.3. ImageFX
is the best for batch processing and effects,
while FXPaint and TVPaint are great for direct
    painting and image creation.

Hmm... Thinking of it now, I had 2 versions of TVPaint...

One was cousing problems on my A1200 (didn't just work)

So, I replaced it with another one (That's what I have on my Peg,
    works on A1200 too)

I use TVPaint 3.59 and it works great on the
Pegasos. When you first start it a little menu
should appear asking for a screenmode, select a
16 or 24bit mode from here and the program should
start fine. Doesn't seem to need any extras
    except installing arexx is beneficial.

    Hi!

Its also the (freeware) version 3.59.
The requester for the screen etc. appears.
TVpaint also opens its own screen with a black image
and the drawing tools.... But then it hangs.

    @realstar:
could you please mail me a list of your LIBS:
directory. there must be something wrong/disturbing...

Somewhere around here, I posted a "guide" to installing the thing on MorphOS. Maybe I should just rewrite an installer for it ;-)

Oh, and hold on tight! fxPaint-Lite is coming! :-D

    Hi!

I`ve installed TVpaint with this guide, but in
    the lha-Archive from www.amigau.com was a mistake
(or I`am using the wrong lha..)
Lha did could not extract the directory "curves" of
    the first TVpaint-disk.
Now I am downloading the zip-Version and try
    it all again....

    Bye! Bo

There's a bug-fixed version of PPaint that runs ok on MOS, on Aminet- version 7.1c .

For animation you'll need either PPaint or Perfect Paint- the others AFAIK can only do batch processing of frames.
