I'm looking for a personal file etc. server that would basically:
- be small in size
- have 100+GB hard disk
- be always on (= energy saving)
- would not hum (= fanless)
- run preferably Linux (not a 'closed box')

Is anyone selling Pegasos preconfigured for such use? I think there's an emerging market for these things, if properly packaged. http://www.mirra.com/ offers one such solution, but is very Windows oriented and seems like a 'closed box' as far as the server itself is concerned.

I'm also going to use the Linux side (for software porting) but probably via X11, not needing a local keyboard & display to be permanently installed. I want to hide this piece in the children's room anyway.. ;)

If you not already know, MySQL AB for instance, is also using such machines internally.

We also use such Pegasos-machines by ourselfs, remote-controled, without graphic-card.
