Yes folks, now you can add polls into the forums. Want to know what everyone wants you to work on next? Thinking about handing off some sources to someone, but don't know who? Working on a new skin, and want to get a vote on which one to do first? Well, now you can easily (well, somewhat easily) crank out your own polls!

Nice (again), but (again): How? Also, I did not understand that "greyed out image above the text field" to add images, but perhaps I am either blind or stupid, or both ...?

    :-?

Well, a picture is worth a thousand words, so here is the "how to add a picture to a library" picture! I'll follow up with "How to add a poll" and "attachments momentarily (hoping the power doesn't go out).

    @Targhan

Personally I think that the forum needs a small explain of those things, In each reply/fast reply an small link that says: "How to use forum's commands" or something, and be correctly explained for dummies (commands and buttons) ;-)

Ah well, that explains it. There is no such button between the "Insert URL to Image" and "Insert Email-Link". Perhaps you simply forgot to set some permission for us regular, plain mortals? ;-)

But the vote result bars are badly displayed in IBrowse (every bar width is 1 px).

Now for how to make a new poll and where to find the link.

For "attaching" a file to a post, just scroll to the bottom of the page used to reply to or create a post.

(note: click on the images to enlarge them!)

All of the images I've used here were quickly thrown in as "attachments" and the box for that is at the very bottom of the "reply" page.

Im testing the "attach" function here! :-)

Find one error in the attached picture (except that I currently am on Windows XP ;-)). A clue: It's about posting images! ;-)

Hey now, it takes a while to chase down all those image tags that someone didn't bother to put a "border='0'" on.

Really, the developers of all of the browsers on MOS/Ami need to set the default for image links to 0 border. I don't mind chasing down the image tags, but there are a lot of webmasters who won't or can't.

    P.S.: look again ;-)

It'll take a while to knock out all of the borders, it's just a fact of life. Sorry, but there are a lot of files with the < img > tag in them. :-P

anyway, I hope there are enough new features to to say "hey, this is better."

Oh yeah, should I kill the XP/HP mod?

About the XP/HP module... the image offsets seem to be wrong, and what does it mean anyway?
