Is there any chance that a minecraft clone will be ported to MorphOS ? Let me know if there is a similar one that I can play at present day.

    Ty ^^

We have Craft, by Yomgui (who ported Python and Blender to MorphOS, and also developed PyMUI, Gribouillis or the wonderful Firewire stack for MorphOS) : http://yellowblue.free.fr/yiki/doku.php/en:dev:craft:start

Yomgui is pretty much alive afaict, at least I talked to him earlier this year about some Python related things and the MorphOS port of Python he did way back.
Unfortunately, he isn't really much into MorphOS nowaways and moved on to some other playgrounds - which is kind of a pity, as it is pretty sad not to have such a creative developer actively in our scene.

There is a magic number in the first four bytes of any compiled bytecode .pyc/.pyo file which needs to match the magic number required by the installed Python version ... It would be helpful if the related file could be identified, could obviously be part of the installed python and/or the additional code installed.
It is possible that the Python version used does not match the requirements of the installed code. It could also be that it is "just" some corrupt byte code file.

i've found this syntax to AmigaImpact posted by Batteman 10 years ago, thanks Batteman! ;-)

    python2.5 -O main.pyo –r r.0.0.mcr -x 5 -z 5

So you need to install Python 2.5 before, and i have realized a "cd partition:minetest/ before.

Here a window 'Test' is open and i have "application is mediating"... (on Powerbook and G5)

Maybe it work on a Mac mini ?

I have tried with a stack but without success...

    Any ideas ?

Maybe you need an older MorphOS/TinyGL...
    Pegasos II G4: MorphOS 3.9, Zalman M220W · iMac G5 12,1 17", MorphOS 3.18
    Power Mac G3: OSX 10.3 · PowerBook 5,8: OSX 10.5, MorphOS 3.18

You must copy C drawer and LIBS drawer to SYS: (partition named "System" normally)

Python 2.5 was released on September 19th 2006

The last edit on Yomgui mintest page is:
    Code:
    en/dev/craft/start.txt · Dernière modification: 2011/12/01 04:41 par Yomgui

    According to this:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MorphOS#Release_history_of_2.x/3.x_series

He probably used MorphOS 2.x or maybe 1.x

    Reagards
