    Thanks mate. Still a Q3 engine but with endian issues that I had to figure out while not knowing wtf is all about ;) Not ready for consumption yet.

    It uses same dll library done for Doom3 that is based on the Aros port and Q2 Ami sources. Not quite there.

    One for MOS developers : Where's a noixemul libdl ?

    Did I say I hate cmake ?

    For what I got now it runs OK on Mac-Mini G4. After all is a modded (old) ioquake3 engine (not Doom3).

    Ah, thank you for your answer, I don't know the engine of Medal of Honour, my brother has the original game and I though that run it was necessary one G5.

    First alpha version is out there and I'm already working on a new version that fixes some issues in some levels.

    I've tested it with MacMini G4 (1.4gz R200) and a PowerBook (1.5gz R300) and performance is much better with PowerBook.

    Still have to figure out the issue with 1st person render: If it is a driver problem or some missing endian code.

    Also, just for clarification, are the expansions supported too (Spearhead/Breakthrough aka mainta/maintt)? I see that by doing a "openmohaa +set com_target_game 1" it does read the "mainta" drawer by then again, I get the same crash and game quits.

    None of that happens on my systems and no .openmohaa search is done.

    This is what I do but that part was removed from the Readme. Maybe the idea of calling from an icon doesn't work so well for everybody. (Not my idea).

    @CowCat: Seems the "/." in System:/.openmohaa/main come from the source code (it's not MorphOS friendly)

    Normally, click on exe via icon work normally (as i proposed)

    My game launch good here.

    I am using the "War Chest" compilation from GOG, can anyone confirm if this working before searching further?
    I copied the files directly after PC / Win installation, without launching the game. Also, there are 8 pak files (0-7). I am downloading some random iso from archive.com to give it a go too in the meantime.

    I tried also from cli but I get the same error. According to Snoopium, it constantly tries to open stuff from System:./.openmohaa and when it fails, it reverts to correct path. However, it also tried to makedir on above weird location. What about that mohaa/qkey btw, is this a valid file, which I should have it?

    Yep, here too with icon or from shell. My point is, from launching from icon game opens a shell anyways but I don't know if when ending, the game resources are cleaned after that.

    The "homepath" declared in the sources correspond to a call to a "getenv( "HOME" )" and probably is not ok enough here. In my own Q3 stuff this part is removed and only returns ("") and maybe could fix the mess. Other code out there use PROGDIR:. We'll see what works better.

    qkey file is a dummy file created by the game so no need to have one from a PC config.

    Weird that on different MOS installations a search for .openmohaa is done and others not. Snoopium doesn't show anything like that for me.

    Wait for a new version.

    I have a config file in main/configs/omconfig.cfg but there is no path into it.

    So, I did a "setenv home progdir:" and it finally worked :)

Would be nice if these could be implemented as tooltypes on the icon or just make separate scripts for them both in the future.

    for me when i see getenv("HOME").. i replace that... too problem with that (depand of system configuration), just replace with PROGDIR: for example
    IMac G5 2.1,PowerBook G4 1.5,MacMini 1.5, PowerMac G5 2.7 died !!!

    ^ There is no need about this version. Just install the "War Chest" compilation from GOG and copy the "main", "mainta" (Spearhead) and "maintt" (Breakthrough). It also has the patches (where applicable) pre-applied. On a side note, I get about 15-30 fps with the default options enabled (depending on the scenery: wider/narrower). That is on a 1.4Ghz G4 with 9800XT on AGP 2x.It's fully playable. Though I am tempted to install some updated textures from moddb, I think I pass for the time being while waiting the 1st pov to be fixed, 'cause right now it seems a bit difficult to aim :P
