    Do you like it? What could be improved?

    I wonder how I can open/enter new URLs when using the Winamp or ANRNG
    GUIs?
    What MIME settings do I need, so that ANR3 plays .pls files directly
    when clicked in Voyager (for example at http://di.fm)?

    If they could somehow make ANR compatible with the UADE-replayers, it would kick serious ass!

    Try push button "Open Files". In an open requester, for example:
    in a field "Drawer" type: http://194.226.223.6:
    and in a field "File": 8128

    regards,

    from the guide:
    Q. Will the UADE player be coming back?

    No. UADE is a Linux port that works only in shell. A player was tried but was very buggy and didn't work properly due to UADE lacking a mechanism to exchange data with ANR. If UADE is updated to include such a mechanism, then the chances of a return are good. Otherwise, there's little chance.

    @hooligan:
    I just downloaded 100+ AHX tunes included in a 450k lha-archive I
    found on the net. They all sound SID-like but much worse composed than
    the SID-classics I'm used to listen to. Do you have any source for
    good AHX tunes? Atleast there must be a reason this replayer is
    included in ANR, it can't be due to this bunch of lame tunes I just
    tried.

    thanx for your collection!
    I still wonder whats the purpose of these AHX-songs, they sound like
    old SID-stuff... even a lot of modern SID party tunes from the 90ies
    are much more complex (but those are most times only playable on a
    real C64)...

    Ohw My God! I finally found true love....at the hand of a mp3/shoutcast player! Where's my shrink! :-P

    No seriously, great stuff. I really like the standard skins and even more like the way you can change the look of ANR on a daily basis ;-) I'm also glad to see that the random play function is improved and that the playlist got a complete overhaul. And support for pt/fc/etc. modules, and ....(fill in here one of the many great updates/new features). But....the pt module replayer seems to suffer from that dreaded "slowdown" playback bug.

    This problem is not easily heard, but you'll notice it immidiatly when using headphones. Slowndown isn't exactly the right word though; it's more that the timing of the song goes out sync every couple of seconds and then catches up again. Very annoying. The 14bitGenie (in Delitracker) suffers from the same problem -> i'm told is had got something to do with the DeliMixer stuff running asynchronously so there's a small pause when the AHI buffer starts. The Ahi-noteplayer (also in Delitracker) doesn't suffer from this problem though, just like the latest version of UADE.

    Ah well, the new ANR is so great I really don't mind much :-D

    Great work AmiGazeux!

    This must be an AHI problem. PtPlay just only renders sound data, it could be CDDA source as well...

    Btw there is small "bonus" in ptplay... You can feed SoundFX mods for it and if you listen very hard you can hear something... Output is poor but we are working on it :-D

    @Itix

    Yeah, it's probably some form of AHI-bug, but on the other hand: in Delitracker the AHI-Noteplayer doesn't seem to suffer from it. It was ofcourse coded by the AHI-guru himself, but still this means that it is possible to get a problem-free output when playing modules.

    Could be too nice those fixes solved, and could be nice add to UADE some method for interact better with ANR, and, why not use trance (the 68k jit of MorphOS) instead those emulation from UAE? :-)

    Could be very nice if ANR supports a lot of amiga formats and a lot of mod-like formats...
