    Hi
besides second spin, which software can extract cd audio from a cd, convert it to mp3, grab the title names from freedb.org and runs fine on morphos?

    thanks

Try CDripper but it's a OGG encoder :)
better than MP3 at low bitrates

This prog rip from CD and add tag via CDDB.

If everything else fails, MakeCD can leech CD audio tracks to sound files, and if you're lazy, just create dos script that will encode them...

Dunno if it would be easy to add freedb.org support to such a script...

What do you mean, "convince jah to add mp3"? he already said so in this very same thread!

yes mp3 support is allready working in a prerelease i got
from jah ... so i think next release will have mp3 support.
the last thing i heard from jah was that he want to know
what mp3 options are needed, but i cant help him, because
i like this ogg vorbis stuff and never used mp3 so much.

so the ppl who use mp3 can post here what mp3 options are
needed and what should be default settings.

i think jah will take a look in this thread from time to
    time.
