It's for transfering big files.
Wayfarer (V 4.3) loads something, but lets the screen blank and does nothing more. I know, that ist was working in the past, but not sure whether it was with Wayfarer 4.2 or older.
Unfortunately i have'nt tested it snce I updatet to V4.3 till yet. So I cannot say if this is a failure of Wayfarer or whether the site itself has changed.

Hello Jaca, i've a strange behaviour here , i have a powerbook

i notice a huge difference in dowload bandwith between OWB and Wayfarer

with wifi Wayfarer don't dowload faster than 500kb/s
with Owb or Wget for the same file to download i'm at 1,2 mb/s it's more than twice time faster !

and unfortunatly with ethernet connexion it's also exactly the same bandwith 500kb/s for wayfarer and a bit better with OWB but only 1.5mb/s , my fiber network's connection have a 300mb/s bandwith so it's weird...

I know netstack is slow but it doesn't explain why OWB is more than two time faster in download.

Have you ever experienced the same issue ?

I've always configured global MUI settings on all computers to close windows with "control esc", much safer :) Couldn't live without keyboard closing, but plain Esc is just too dangerous.

As for wetransfer: did you try clearing http caches? Different user agent? I don’t have a account but at least a login page loads fine here.

Yes, tried all possibilties. Deleted cache and tested all user-agents. Always a empty screen........no login page. (btw:: for transfering <2GB file no login is needed).

May be interessting: Also OWB gives an empty screen. In the past, login page was shown (but you could'nt do anything on it...). Could it be, that we have a restiction here in Austria? (And if, why?)

Firefox on PC works flawless.

Wetransfer works with wayfarer on my powerbook but with a slow bandwith due to netstack and warfarer seems limited to 500kb/s on my powerbook .... Owb don't work for wetransfer.
But my bandwith issue isn't a fact of wetransfer limit....
Did you try swisstranfer instead ?

Normaly wetransfer has enough bandwith here.

Seems to be a only a problem here in Austria/Vienna. Since today (13:00) it works again and I got a message with "We apologize for inconvience last days.......bla,bla,bla....."
(But what I don't understand: why does Firefox work?)

Do you use internal Airport on your PB? In that case I can tell you: use a PC-Slot-card instead! Airport has some strange issues, running under MOS. My PBs (15", 17" G4, Mini and G5 too) are'nt able to establisch a sufficiently stable connection to router (even when it's only 1m away!).
I now use Netgear W511T (Atheros-Chip) Wireless PC-Card (in PB) and small accesspoints/repeaters for Mini and G5. This works fine, stable and quick.

To test real speed on your PB you may connect it with cable to router. It should be much faster.

With Facebook web, wayfarer goes slow, any trick to show the page more fast?

Keep in mind that the JavaScript support in Wayfarer is only interpreted. On x86 WebKit there is an elaborate 4-stage JIT.

AmigaHarry2: i have tried Aldo with ethernet cable directly on the netbox 1gb Switch ...and same result 500kb/s max ...and Owb 1.5mb/s , ftp rules great btw my pc and my powerbook. I have tried with other dns same result..the only gain ils that cable is better because of the faster ping.
So reactivness is better but for site like official morphos with a Big background it's slow.

Try m.facebook.com, which is more lightweight.

I 've tried downloading a torrent file which had a file name length of 109 chars (including the .torrent extension). In retrospect and upon some testing, it exceeds the max file name length of Ambient by 2 chars, right?

Anyway, though Wayfarer displays the full name on the downloading requester correctly, it failed with a message "i/o error rename".

I then tried with OWB and it failed too. But the error message on Wayfarer gave me a hint and since OWB allows you to type a new name upon clicking downloading, I was able to shorten the file name, download it and then add it to dizzytorrent.

So, my question is, in order to avoid a similar confusion, why not add a similar rename requester to Wayfarer too? Perhaps the requester could be optionally enabled on its settings for suspicious users :P

Well, I found a little problem with mail boxes open with Wayfarer, when you write your e-mail and you use accents in spanish language, like this á-í-ó, Wayfarer shows thats 'a-'o
