Hello all, Just did a search for email programs here and came up with Zero. Trying to use Simple mail but the program though
quite responsive seems to have a freezing problem. Can't seem to get an email finished befor the window stops responding.
So looking for an alternative. Can someone please tell me what they are using and how it works for them.

Okay, Installed Yam, but it would not open... Also tried to install Ignition but the install kept crashing. Last but not least
I obviously need some schooling, how do I re-position and re-size open windows?

The e-mail situation on MorphOS is quite bad.

- YAM is a great client, but only knows POP3.
- SimpleMail is way to buggy. I never managed to close it normaly, only by reset.

It's very annoying to me that i have to start another OS to handle IMAP properly.

I'm currently busy with a project, otherwise i would make one. But maybe later...

MorphOS 3.10 is supposed to come with an email client. Not sure whether IMAP is on its feature list, though.

I've been using SimpleMail for years, and never had any closing issues. Maybe we have some different MUI libraries or so in use? Or use it in a different way otherwise? I'm using POP3, not IMAP...

Old versions did trash memory because of AmiSSL, but the recent OpenSSL versions behave much better. SimpleMail does its job for me, but of course would love to get a new option too. I still don't trust it 100% even though can't exactly blame it either.

@Andreas_Wolf: Great news, let's hope it does support IMAP as well.

I have the latest versions of all stuff installed.
I have serval SSL-IMAP-accounts configured.
If I try to connect to a postbox, it may work for the first one, but the 2nd-one will hit and frezze the app.
Dunno what errors now..

I am using SimpleMail-MOS 1.1.
That Version works without Problems for me.
