Use the aminet, it's the best app store I have ever seen.

I'm sorry but this is not an AppStore, but a webserver. I do give you credits for supporting the MorphOS community however :)

I appriciate the effort, but what makes it better than MorphOS Files or Grunch? This doesn't have a search function nor descriptions.

    @eliot: you have right :-D

@Bastiaan: it's a free Application store, thanks to support us ;-)

@YASU: MorphOS-Files and Grunch are very nice for MorphOS users. I would like just to propose the last and best apps for MorphOS users.
It's a quick creation, the improvements will arrive more late ;-)

The URL doesn't work here? That's probably a new record for the shortest livespan of an aminet-is-great-but... project so far ;)

I don't know about MorphOS-Files, but Aminet allows direct links to files and readme files from external sources. If you want to "propose the last and best apps for MorphOS users" then write a web interface for the existing software archives, instead of creating yet another competiting repository (no. seven or eight, throughout MorphOS' history, IIRC).

I'd also rather see MorphOS Files get updated with a tool to detect new updates like Grunch does. Having yet another place to track down updates and new files is just a pain to deal with.

    Why not simply use Grunch?

I agree with the aim of a new website, but should be make it better, than the others.

I think a description, some screenshots could be great, but the most important thing is the continous checking of the content (and feedback to the developers if something is wrong). Without this, I think it is not really interesting for wider community.

I think the best idea for such a page would be not to be another MorphOS Files or Aminet wannabe, but rather a place where programs that WarmUp recommend can be found. Not all programs, only the best. The ones we think you should try and will enjoy. That will at least makes some sense.

I very much agree with this question! I'm puzzled...
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

Information such as editorials, news or reviews could be done on regular webpages, in newsletters, in magazines, or whatever.

    ...and then point to Grunch!

Grunch could be definately the best way to collect/distribute/install programs... unfortunately doesn't contain all the available programs.

A new version of WArMUp Store is available :

    - a banner added
    - link to developper website added
    - last files added

@all developpers : don't hesitate to propose your soft ;-)

@all users : don't hesitate to try it and propose ideas to improve it.

If you know something is available anywhere, don't hesitate to propose it ;-)

That is not a problem of Grunch. Grunch is just the application accessing archives on the net.

Developers need to create a Grunch.db for each application just once and Grunch will find any further update without any additional work.

If something is not in Grunch, blame the developers of those applications.

You can add my Icon pack to the storage :-) I plan to do an update sometime in the future.
