At http://www.ppa.ltd.pl/software/software-wgetgui_eng.html you can find beta version of new download manager for MorphOS. It's wget based, and has MUI GUI.

Didn't work? If GUI doesn't open you may don't have BetterString.mcc. If GUI open, but downloading files don't work, you may don't have assign WgetGUI: to dir with program.

There are temporary problems with server. I think, that they should fixed soon.

I gave wgetGUI a try for the first time and it works well on my
system. Downloading some multi-part archives from different
locations worked nicely. The prefs could perhaps be cleaned
up a bit and consolidated onto fewer seperate sections. wgetGUI
works well and I will keep it handy from now on. Thanks.

I HAVE to use proxy for most connections, and that one succesfull download was from those few sites, that do not require proxy...

Otherwise, it indeed DOES look nice, but proxy just doesn't seem to work...

Just checked it, and you're right. Proxy don't work. I'll fix it asap, and proxy should work in next relase.

Ei! The proxy settings in Voyager 3.4.4 (the one shipped with Morphos 1.4, pegasos II) are ignored then??? I finally connected to Internet using Miami (at first it was slow because I plugged in the 1Gig... ^^;), but now I can not browse anywhere without setting the proxy in my lab.....
