i just noticed that there are 2 new files on zargos: an updated commodities.library and a new parallel.device.
has anyone tried if printing with 1.4 over parallel works better now??

When I'm trying to connect to beta-2 server I got:
Unknown host: zargos.morphos.net

I've tested parallel printing on Pegasos II with Panasonic KX-P 6500
printer. I've printed some text documents from MorphED (in textmode of
course) and it worked perfectly.

I've tested printing with my HP Laserjet 6L, it works now perfectly, too! With the old parallel.device it was not possible to print.

I have to thx all MoephOs programmers for the support :D
At the end my parallel Canon BJC 4300 work fine! THX!

I've tested with Simplemail and MorphED. SM hangs after a few seconds and MorphED waits and waits and waits... :(

I have a Canon S600/Pegasos2.

is the new parallel.device for Peg1, too ?

With the new device nothing works anymore, even sending data to PAR: is non-functional.

Same here: the ftp appears to be down...

The new parallel.device is for Pegasos II only, as Tokai added at amiga-news.de.

How come everytime you post I get the uncontrollable urge to dig out my El Hazard DVD's?!

zargos is nowhere to be found. Is there another location to obtain it from?

hey guys, doesn't parallel printing already work on Pegasos 1?

Never worked for me (HP Deskjet 560c connected to parallel port).
As I remember from previous threads I'm not the only one with this problem. It's not that it doesn't work at all, it stops printing aprox. half a page before the end of the document.
